SLANY

SLANY is a dj and producer located in Leipzig and a resident of HOLEY, a queer event series at Rote Sonne, Munich. She started djing in 2022 and two years later made her first steps in music production. All these years were a journey of self discovery and dedication to the art. Before that she has spent more than a decade on the dancefloor, which results in a strong feeling for what a room needs for which occasion, time and crowd. While making music, she wants to create memorable experiences that unite people with themselves, with the music and with others.

SLANY is drawn to deep and hypnotic sounds with rich textures and an organic feeling. Music that often feels like a warm blanket but also has some darker facets. She likes to describe her sets like a reflection of life - leading through different waves of emotions, while connecting these fluidly as they are always evolving and developing. Her sets are characterised by percussive and hypnotic elements complemented by athmospheric, mystical sounds, which bring an emotional depth.
