J.N.R.

London-born, Atlanta-raised, and Brooklyn-based, J.N.R. grounds her obsession with digging and curation in a deep respect for club culture and endless hours spent on the dancefloor. Her sound sits at the crossroads of uk bass, prog, and tech house, with moments of meditative introspection and energetic exuberance doled out in equal measure.

Classically trained for 15 years, J.N.R. brings both precision and playfulness to her sets, infusing foundational influences with fresh energy. She’s played at a number of notable venues in BK and beyond, including Elsewhere, H0L0, and Kater, and has graced the decks for respected NYC institutions like ReSolute and Ladies on Wax.

J.N.R. sets traverse genres and are rooted in the raw expression of the 90s & early 00s: bumpy UKG, spacey prog, techy rollers, choppy breaks, and heady bass are all on the table.
