For 30 years, Berlin-based B. Ashra has been producing off-the-mainstream electronic music with his solo project. His musical range is very wide, from meditative ambient music to sound experiments and acid techno.

Since this sometimes led to confusion, the name B. Ashra has only stood for his ambient, downbeat and experimental productions since the beginning of the two-thousanders. Since then he has been living out his weakness for techno/electro with his pseudonym Robert Templa and for tech-house, glitches, very experimental and harder sounds he calls himself Hackbert.

Through numerous live concerts in many clubs and at open air festivals, B. Ashra has made a name for himself in the international electronic music scene with his solo project.

In addition to being a musician, he is a sound designer and mastering engineer, works in his recording studio: GL Audio in Berlin and manages the two labels: Separated Beats and Klangwirkstoff Records.

The latter has specialized in the effect of rhythms, resonances and frequencies derived directly from nature, such as planetary tones and molecular settings, on calculations of Hans Cousto's cosmic octave.
