Kaya Nya
Kaya Nya is a passionate vinyl selector and 1/2 of junglist father-daughter duo „Bassline Bloodline“. With her father having his own soundsystem and being in the scene since the 90s, she grew up surrounded by reggae and dub culture from an early age. Kaya Nya has also integrated herself into Berlin‘s electronic music scene, having worked for an electronic music Label and organizing parties as part of INTRA collective. Her love for soundsystem culture has always remained strong, leading her to resonate with its influence in jungle music. Today, she plays a wide range of 90s jungle, ragga jungle, modern UK breakbeat as well as dub and reggae - a fusion of heritage, passion and love for wicked breaks.
