Masca plays groove-led house with warmth, restraint and a strong instinct for emotional impact.
Moving between house, deep house, minimal and tech house, his sets are shaped by rolling basslines, playful percussion and occasional vocals. Labels such as Up The Stuss, Howl, Miura, R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings and Rutilance Recordings provide recurring reference points, without limiting his selection to a fixed sound.
Based in Berlin, Masca’s perspective has been shaped by years inside underground club culture, but his roots reach back further. His roots lie in Lower Saxony, where he began organising electronic music events around Hameln and Hanover in 2010 before playing his first gigs in Göttingen in 2016. As a founding member of Hart aber Fair and Kollektiv Rote Straße, he helped develop Göttingen’s underground club culture through large-scale parties, outdoor raves and rooftop livestreams. Since 2023, he has also been part of Nightshift.
