Makeen
Classically trained with twenty years of compositional practice behind him, he channels that foundation into live Eurorack improvisation. Since 2009 he has been a central figure in Chicago's techno and electronic music scene, co-organizing the collectives Research & Development and Spent. His releases on iideo, Format, PPRZ and others reflect a sound shaped equally by years on the dancefloor and a deep attention to how music acts on the body, hypnotic, experimental, and precise.
