    the whole biography
Anna was born and raised in Berlin, into a family of a musician who exposed her to a diverse range of music genres from a very young age. Her father's art rock band was one of her earliest influences, shaping her understanding of music and its various forms. Despite living in a techno capital of Europe, it was actually during a trip to Munich that Anna was introduced to the world of electronic music. It was here that she discovered the exotic sounds of house music, which proved to be a turning point for her musical journey. She was captivated by the diverse sub-genres within house music, and it became a defining characteristic of her style - constantly diving and resurfacing through a multitude of sub-genres. After falling in love with the endless possibilities of house music, Anna began DJing in 2012 to share the tracks she had collected and built up over the years. Her goal was to create immersive experiences and take her listeners on unique journeys through her sets. With a passion for music that runs deep, Anna continues to explore and experiment with new sounds, always striving to evolve and push the boundaries of what's possible within electronic music!

Whether playing in clubs around the world such as Berghain/Panorama Bar and Watergate or Sisyphos and Ritter Butzke in Berlin, Hive Club Zurich, Baum in Bogotá and Glow Bangkok or producing his own tracks for respected labels like Upon. You Records, Smiley Fingers, Voltage Musique and Ballroom Records, Stiller’s technique is deep in character, an outward-reaching combination of techno and techhouse with his trademark funk-tinged basslines. Born in the sunny seaside town of Rostock, Germany, Gunnar Stiller found a change of scenery when his family moved to Berlin in the early 80s. Moving to such a beautifully chaotic, adventurous city was a key factor in shaping his musical perspective, and with the purchase of his well loved (and now worn out) turntables in the late 90s, he took his first step into a professional artistic career as DJ and producer. In 2003 while working as manager for Berlin-based event agency No Ufos, Gunnar found himself in the heart of a perfect playground to gain insight and develop his own style, which at the time was focused on deep house, breaks and electro. Inspired by those around him such as Steve Bug, Matthias Tanzmann and Martin Landsky, Stiller quickly began to carve out his own sound that impressed not just the dancers filling the floor but also any promoter and organizer who was paying attention. Pushing himself toward further success, he founded the artist alliance Edelmut in 2004 along with a few of his friends, an endeavor which quickly gained them notoriety as they played in the city’s top clubs like Watergate, Bar25 and later the infamous KaterHolzig , the latter of which invited Gunnar to become a resident DJ, a position he gladly accepted. On top of this, he became a regular player at the legendary HomeSweetHome sessions. His frequent and often lengthy sets (sometimes in excess of 10 hours) allowed him to explore the boundaries between (and beyond) techno and techhouse, creating a dramatic musical landscape that sets him apart from countless other DJs. By 2009 Stiller had formed a solid intuition for exactly what moved listeners’ bodies (and spirits) and began his foray into production. His debut release, the Heideberg EP, and its followup the Manaus Madness EP – both on Voltage Musique – landed directly within the Top 5 German club charts, and Marek Hemmann’s remix of “Manaus Madness” was voted the #10 best remix by dance music authority Groove Magazine’s 2010 readers’ poll. It was around this time that Gunnar joined Upon. You Records as part of their label and booking roster, releasing a lot more EPs and contributing to the acclaimed label compilation Upon. You Diary, which was compiled by himself in 2014. These where followed by collaborations and remix projects with artists like Solomun, AndHim, Layo & Bushwacka!, Alex Niggemann, Danny Serrano, Ray Okpara, Nikola Gala, Larry Cadge, Odd People, Samuel Dan, Nakadia, Dj Le Roi or Loko and more released tracks on labels like Clap Your Hands, Smiley Fingers and Time Has Changed. Meanwhile, Gunnar Stiller’s DJ career picked up exponentially as he established a name for himself outside his native Berlin borders. In the last few years, he has been booked to play at top festivals such as Sonar Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, Melt! Festival, Fusion Festival and Sonnemondsterne, in clubs throughout Eastern and Western Europe as well as South America, Asia, Australia and Africa, sharing the booth with the likes of Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier and Luciano. If you want to know where the global electronic dance scene is headed next, keep your eyes and ears on Gunnar Stiller…

With over 100 releases and remixes on acclaimed labels such as MoBlack, Dessous, Poker Flat, Crosstown Rebels, Stil vor Talent, Systematic, Bunny Tiger, Katermukke, Bar 25 Music, and Ritter Butzke, his prolific output cements his status as a house music innovator. Phonique's career catapulted to fame in 2004 with the iconic club anthems “The Red Dress” and “For the Time Being”. However, it was his timeless hit “Feel What You Want” from his 2010 album – amassing over 50 million views on YouTube – that solidified his global reputation. His four critically acclaimed albums showcase his evolving sound, diverse influences, and profound intuition for igniting dance floors worldwide. In July 2022, Phonique launched his label Zatar Music, debuting with a Korolova remix of “Feel What You Want.” The label highlights his melodic and Afro-Arabic house inspirations, drawing from his travels to countries like Jordan, Ukraine, and Armenia. With releases from artists such as Fairplay, Roo, Nilu, and Gui Boratto, Zatar Music embodies Phonique’s adventurous sonic vision. Remixes by Hyenah, Korolova, Gorje Hewek, and others have earned Zatar tracks spots in Black Coffee’s Spotify playlist and Adriatique’s iconic Cercle set. 2022 also marked Phonique’s residency at Berlin’s renowned club Ritter Butzke, following his debut release on their label. Playing alongside international stars like Korolova and Franky Wah, Phonique continues to inspire with his electrifying performances. As “Identification”, his debut album, approached its 20th anniversary, Phonique is planning a special release featuring acoustic reinterpretations and fresh remixes of classics like “For the Time Being feat. Erlend Oye” and “Café Monte Carlo feat. Dixon”. This milestone reaffirms his ability to revisit and reinvent his own legacy. An unexpected highlight in 2024 was the resurgence of “Feel What You Want” in its slowed version, trending on Shazam charts in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan, and peaking at #15 on the global Shazam charts. This momentum inspired an upcoming “All Mixes” release on Zatar Music, featuring remixes from Korolova, Vintage Culture, Bruno Be, Tom Novy, Aka Aka, and a highly anticipated new version by Ukrainian duo Artbat. From his trailblazing productions to his residencies and label endeavors, Phonique remains a driving force in house music, pushing boundaries while staying true to the genre’s essence.

  • Rampue

    “"Ach, krass.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
"Ach, krass.

b o o k i n g: contact@lmnt-agency.com Despite his young age, Weisemann has been DJing since 1996. His musical influences ranges from Classic, Soundtracks, Soul and Jazz, Deep House and Dub to his beloved Detroit Techno and US House. As a producer, his music draws deeply on the legacy of Chicago and Detroit, yet somehow manages to end up sounding as fresh as a daisy - records such as 'Vibe' and 'Slices' are house music that is half atmosphere and half beats, and not afraid to take its sweet time to lull the floor with their charms. A self-taught musician who plays piano, acoustic guitar and percussion, Weisemann also composes jazz and soundtracks - traditions which also inform his house records no doubt, many of which you can find on Meanwhile, House Café Music, Apple Pips, Kann, a.r.t.less, Wandering, Liebe*Detail, Real Soon, Styrax Leaves, Essays, Freund Der Familie, Fauxpas Musik, Echocord, Delsin, Telrae, Just Another Beat and especially Mojuba, where Weisemann's music slots together with friends Nick Solé and Oracy to form a distinct, and highly collectible, label sound. Several pseudonyms are in circulation.
