After having started his solo project in 2018, 2019 has been a terrific year for Matchy. Just recently he was awarded official best seller on Beatport of the year. He did not only reach spot 1 of the infamous Katermukke label with his banger "Irreversible". The track has been the best sold Progressive House track since its release in July and is still in the Top10 charts after more than 6 months. Since then, "Irreversible" has been heavily played at festivals and clubs all over the world. Due to Matchy's success he is playing at some of the most acclaimed clubs and festivals such as SonneMondSterne, Bucht der Träumer, Katzensprung and many more. Working as a discjockey since 2007, Leon Licht has become an all-round DJ and a chameleon of sorts. Being knee deep into Berlin’s pulsating nightlife and his full dedication to the craft have cemented his way to the top. Growing a dedicated following and earning a reputation of delivering energetic vibes. First and foremost stands his ability to adapt his style to a particular mood, place and time. Keeping both ears open for current sounds and trends. But always staying true to his inner rave spirit and matching the energy of his audience. Be it the kind of organic tech-house that sounds like tennis balls being served, fury techno for peak time or a warm blanket of sounds for after-hours. As a lovechild of Berlin, Leon Licht’s interest for electronic music came through listening to music from 90’s Loveparade compilations and the days of MTV. His early interest and the abundance of nightlife in Berlin made for ideal conditions for his roots in rave to grow. Hanging out from Monday to Sunday in clubs grew the appetite to contribute to the scene himself. Meeting like minded people and absorbing every inch of nightlife along the way. These days he can be found touring all over Europe, but is always eager to return home to Berlin. Where he regularly plays Wilde Renate, Kater Blau, Watergate and his ever evolving residency in Sisyphos. Like a true Gemini, she is curious, indecisive and social, permitting her to fly between genres as she reads the crowd. To her, music doesn't have a genre or a label, but an energy and emotion. If she likes it, she plays it! Her DJ experience started in 2021, where she naturally made it to the other side of the booth, in the legendary Sisyphos. Since then, she has been playing in Berlin's most famous clubs and festivals, in Central America, Europe, and Africa. Her endless curiosity and dedication to the scene drive her to new places. Karsten Schmidt is one of Berlin’s “Wendekinder”, or one of those, who witnessed the wall dividing the city falling, which kick-started the development of the underground electronic music culture in Berlin. This lead to him establishing a connection with electronic music from its early days. Like many others who began their musical journey as frequent visitors of clubs like Bunker, the old Tresor, Walfisch, E-Werk, WMF, he made contact with known and unknown DJs, who deeply influenced him and he began his intensive exploration of electronic music. Even if the popularity of many of those music pioneers and idols he met early on changed in time, his love for the music didn’t, as well as his desire to exceed the limits of 4/4. This is how it came to be, that Karsten Schmidt’s all time favorites belong not only to the Disco, House and Techno classics, but also incorporate musical influences from Ambient to Drum’n’Bass. Along with Giorgio Moroder, Lil’ Louis, Carl Craig, Underground Resistance, Moritz von Oswald, such names as Aphex Twin, Squarepusher or Jean-Michel Jarre belong to his musical background. Given this history, you can expect to hear many nuances and surprises in his sets.
