“The cohesive array of depth charged devices that Anthony Linell has produced is formidable.”
their own biography
the whole biography
The cohesive array of depth charged devices that Anthony Linell has produced is formidable. From his opening statements as Abdulla Rashim on his early label of the same name, right through to his recent work that puts his aliases aside, there is a robust and rigorous intent that compounds the elemental strategies of techno's models to apprehend his singular vision. Presiding over Stockholm's Northern Electronics label with Varg (Jonas Rönnberg), Linell dispenses with mechanisms of attention on all fronts. Marked by an indefatigable self-reliance, the label presents exactly what it means to display, and no more. Carving an idiosyncratic platform for his music is as great of a warning as there could be that Linell's leveraging little toward the benefit of the audience. By his measure, the familiarity and comfort of contemporary techno is stripped back to its rushing heart, the senses left tailgating the strobe in a fit of intuition over decision. The greater this is exposed the colder it gets, and its in these extremes that Linell's caustic rhythmic precision hits. Live, it comes off as a galvanizing strike from the outside; analysing the room as a DJ, it's a case of being pursued through the dark. Just as the brevity of Linell's output in the eyes of techno is exalted as it is brought into focus, the background to this blurs as you start to decipher his other projects. Lundin Oil skirts the fringes of noise and experimental music, and in collaboration with Varg as Ulwhednar, this is perhaps even more pronounced. Purposively ricocheting between the techno world and experimental electronic music, Linell forges a distinct passage that gathers the aesthetically uncompromising motifs and missions from across this spectrum. It's this combination and resolve that's brought Linell to the world's attention, however little that attention has been solicited.Their RA profile lists Semantica Records, UTCH Records, Northern Electronics, Amotik and 5 more.Recently at Kraftwerk, Tresor/Globus and OHM, Kraftwerk Berlin · often with TRESOR, Trailcam, GLOBUS, none of them here that night

Heith crafts a mesmerising and ritualistic subterranean soundscape, a resonant and eclectic collage of distinct sonic elements: from celestial percussion intertwined with jarring, mechanical oscillations to haunting vocals atop murky dubbed-out beats. His last work, X,wheel has been released on PAN in October 2022 and sees the artist collaborating with several musicians, drawing together an array of philosophies and fictions into a sonic tableau that brings the listener inside an hypnotic realm made of intimate images and collective hallucinations. Since founding his label Haunter Records in 2013, Heith has played a key role in Milan's music scene, also becoming part of the curatorial team at the legendary Macao space.Their RA profile lists PAN, Haunter Records and STROOM 〰.Last at Kraftwerk Berlin in Aug

Mala came to prominence as a founding member of DMZ, the crew behind some of modern bass music’s most influential dances and the most highly prized 12"s the movement has produced. Almost 20 years later, his ideas and creations continue to influence and shape contemporary electronic music, pushing it into new and uncharted spaces. In 2025, Mala’s 2006 track “Anti War Dub” was voted No. 2 in Resident Advisor’s Favourite Music of the Century. In a year that celebrated his early work, he also released “Militant Don” with Nigerian pidgin rap artist Magugu — his first single on DEEP MEDi MUSIK in over a decade. In 2026, Mala returns to the U.S. 🇺🇸 for the debut Longform Tour. Extended, uninterrupted sets that honour the roots of dubstep, sound-system culture, and its global evolution. "In the daring sonic fiction of JP López, the Medellín artist collides in his productions and DJ sets techno, latin-influenced tribal, hyper-electronica, carefully crafted IDM and cutting-edge dembow-bass technology with both intensity and precision. Verraco is also one of the heads behind the groundbreaking TraTraTrax, label that has become a key platform for Latinx sound explorers in recent years. With the future classic Escándaloo EP on VOAM out in Summer 2023, RA and Crack Magazine lauded the record as one of the best of the year. In 2024, the Colombian artist's debut on Bristol's stalwart Timedance with 'Breathe... Godspeed' was unanimously acclaimed by the press, with the EP being awarded Pitchfork Best New Music, described by renowned journalist Philip Sherburne as "an essential record for the vanguard of dance music". In 2025, he signed with the legendary UK label XL Recordings for a three-tracker EP. In addition to having important recurring appearances at clubs and festivals such as Dekmantel, Berghain or Berlin Atonal, Verraco also launched his own party in Bogotá also called Escándaloo, which has been sold out on all occasions and has brought to his country for the first time the likes of Skee Mask, Batu, Pariah, Livwutang among others." ~ Outer Agency.Their RA profile lists XL Recordings, Timedance, Voam and TraTraTrax.Last at Berghain in Aug · often with Berghain, Pariah, Gabrielle Kwarteng, none of them here that night
