Born and raised in the streets of Rotterdam, from a very young age, STEEZY has spent a lot of his time curating music edits and involving himself with the local music scene in the Netherlands. This is why, at the age of 16, he started an internship at Triphouse Rotterdam — a collective of local DJs and creatives, that also acted as a record store/club. It was also the place where his passion for underground music grew. Spending most of his time in their headquarters, STEEZY got inspired by techno, house & electro music and started to learn how to mix his favorite sounds like hardcore and jungle too. Fast forward to today, STEEZY is now based in Berlin and has made a name for himself by playing at underground parties over the years. Running his own underground electronic label, as well as promoting several events, these experiences have helped him evolve his style to include more techno, early rave, breakbeat, ghetto house, kuduro, hardcore, jungle and drum & bass. With this evolution in style, his musical style consists of a perceptible sound journey that has also been featured on Operator Radio, Radio WORM, PRSPCT Radio, Refuge Worldwide and Radio Quantica — just to name a few. His DJ sets have reached the dance floors in France, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Austria and Panama, proving that his musical progression knows no bounds. the whole biography
xPOLLYx is an artist who has always sought to incorporate a sense of exclusion and differentiation from the imposed society into his music. The essence of his concept and style lies in the lack of representation in what the world offers today. His goal is to create a shared sense of belonging through extreme sounds that reflect his vision and identity in defiance of an imposed system: distortion, spontaneity, and rejection of institutions. A sense of disapproval and irreverence has been an integral part of his artistic formation from the very beginning, which he expresses through fast, distorted, and frenetic music As his artistic identity solidified, for better or worse, xPOLLYx made it clear that there are no half-measures in what he does. The wave of anger and emotion he expresses is strikingly evident, allowing his listeners to engage with his vision: an outburst against a society that constantly oppresses and represses us.Their RA profile lists Pareidolia, Blush Recordings, Biotech Recordings and Baci.Recently at NEW FEARS, Coco Boule · often with KULYENCHIKEV, Mad, intervention, none of them here that night
