From the age of 16, SIUL began listening to Schranz and hard techno, and on his 18th birthday, attended his first techno party. This was a major life-changing event for him, where he became enlightened by the whole vibe of the techno scene, and the experience outweighed the class and culture of other electronic music scenes. In 2021 SIUL started to set his passion on a new level & began to collect vinyl records and producing with Ableton the same time. It didn't take long for his first releases to come on a label based in the Netherlands. On Amsterdam Techno Records he dropped two double singles and his debut EP. While pushing his knowledge of music production his focus always was to really find his own sound until he recently released another EP but on his first major label. Dave Mech is an electronic music artist whose journey began with flamenco guitar at age seven and evolved through bass and drums into electronic production. As an instrumentalist he has played in prestigious venues like Tivoli / Vredenburg, Paradiso, and VERA, as well as festivals such as Oeral and Noorderslag. As a solo live performer Dave performed across Europe in renowned clubs like :// about blank, Oxi, and Aeden in Berlin, NADA Temple in Lisbon and Club Basis in Utrecht. Sharing lineups with artists like Steve Rachmat, SLAM, and the Advent. His unique live setup, consisting of a selection of Elektron samplers, synthesizers, effects, and a DJ mixer, allows for dynamic, improvised performances that seamlessly blend deep atmospheres with uptempo techno. Dave has released music on respected labels including Nothing But, Tribal Pulse, and SOMA Labs Music, but is currently focusing on self-releases to speed up the release process with his recent release being Determined EP. Beyond his artistic endeavours, he is dedicated to education and community building in the electronic music scene through his YouTube channel, teaching, and creating resources like samples, presets and courses for other musicians.
