Hailing from the UK and now residing in Berlin Radondo has built a versatile sound within the Italian Dance Wave movement. His progressive DJ sets have seen him quickly become a prevalent artist within the German capital, playing regular slots at venues such as Renate, Sisyphos and becoming a resident at the revered Slow Motion Records parties. With a steady run of releases on labels such as Wrong Era, Loose Fit Records, Ritmo Fatale and Fucanglong Files, he merges arcane soundscapes with ethereal analogue synth lines. As a producer and remixer, he has gained recognition for his captivating consistency and support from Italo’s greats. Melanie Havens, a São Paulo native now based in Berlin, is a standout DJ known for her eclectic and dynamic sets that move fluidly across sonic landscapes. Active behind the decks since the age of 17, Melanie began her journey at São Paulo’s renowned club D-Edge before relocating to Berlin at 19, where she continued to develop her distinctive approach to electronic music. From wave and Italo disco to EBM, electroclash, new beat, electro, dark disco, techno, synthpop, post-punk, and beyond, her selections are driven by vibrant synths, powerful basslines. Beyond the booth, Melanie is a writer and curator for The Brvtalist , as well as a resident at its events. She has brought her sound to dance floors around the world, with appearances in New York, Paris, Bogotá, Shanghai, and beyond. She is also the founder of Klaash , a party dedicated to electroclash and adjacent sounds. Over the years, Melanie has brought her sound to renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, including Berghain, Tresor, Montreux Jazz Festival, Fusion Festival, and Grauzone Festival, alongside appearances across New York, Paris, Bogotá, Shanghai, Zagreb, London, São Paulo, Mexico City and beyond. Between beats and notes, Madd Rod embodies the curiosity brewing within Rodrigo Pinheiro. Originally from Lisbon, he is a DJ, producer, and commander of Inner Shah Recordings, defying the frontiers between electronic music genres through a simultaneously nostalgic and avant-garde approach. Producing from a young age, he navigated through the industry, closing the first chapter of his career with his first studio album, Dystopian Desert (2020), which unlocked fresh collaborations and remixes. The following year, he joined the roster of Discotexas, finding a musical shelter within borders. Living in Berlin since 2022, he [re]discovered his identity through a retrofuturistic sound that culminated in his second studio album, Sad Behaviour (2023)—a robust, punk, and intimate dive into the past with eyes on the future. After its release, he spent a short period in Portugal, reconnecting with the country’s club scene, establishing his event series, Panthera and working on Sad Behaviour: Expanded Edition (2024), which introduced four new singles to the LP. Whether in the studio or at the clubs, Madd Rod weaves influences from 2000s Electroclash, 1990s EBM, and the raw energy of 1980s Proto-House and Italo Disco. His latest release, the Make You Sweat EP, dropped via Inner Shah in February 2025, is proof he mastered the recipe for this genre salad.
