Who they are
“Of course, Dominik is also a well travelled DJ who is always observing the natural world on his worldly travels.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Of course, Dominik is also a well travelled DJ who is always observing the natural world on his worldly travels. Much like a wide open landscape of flora and fauna that is always changing and mutating through the seasons, his sounds never stay still for long. As such a DJ set from the man at clubs and festivals around Europe, South America, the USA and many places in between always offer a compelling blend of physical groove and heady melody. No shade of techno or house is out of his grasp, and he can weave together deep, hard, textural, emotive and/or angelic tropes depending on what the situation requires. For Dominik, mother nature is the greatest artist of all. As a painter paints his representation of the natural world, Dominik wants to create an acoustic image that depicts how he feels about it. For example, a walk in the woods can be a blueprint for exciting music, because “in the woods you never know what is waiting for you around the next corner.” In the forest a rustle in the coppice can turn into a hookline, just like a subtle synth can become the main feature of one of his moving productions. As well as producing plenty of standout 12”s, Dominik is also a revered remixer who has worked on nearly 100 projects and music by Hot Chip, DJ Hell, Tiefschwarz, Nathan Fake, Roman Flügel and many more. In 2007 Dominik was awarded the "Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik" for his second album Heimische Gefilde, whilst the follow up in 2011, Diorma, was just as widely acclaimed. Over the years he has always managed to stay in the press and place highly in polls by Raveline, Groove and De:Bug was well as pick up various awards for his studio and DJ work. Now a veteran of more than ten years in the game, Dominik is still as fresh as compelling as he ever was, much like the natural world in which he so passionately surrounds himself.Their RA profile lists Cocoon Recordings, Traum Schallplatten, Herzblut Recordings, InFine Music and 1 more.often with Format B, Solvane, Daniel Neuland, none of them here that night

“"I can sell out Madison Square Garden masturbating." —Mike Tyson MOONBOOTICA saves lives.”

"I can sell out Madison Square Garden masturbating." —Mike Tyson MOONBOOTICA saves lives. MOONBOOTICA guarantees the fun of excess. A great gift to mankind. Without fun, this world would recede into clouds of grey. And who wants that? With MOONBOOTICA, everybody has the freedom to say no to grey. On one condition: fun has to be discovered and used to full effect, with every sinew stretched. Once you’ve got that far, things begin to relativize, delusions of grandeur seem as easy as ABC, thanks to MOONBOOTICA. The powers that be strive for greatness, growth, expansion? MOONBOOTICA rise up to the challenge twice over! Composure through relativization, at the end of the day, MOONBOOTICA always have more in the tank. This calming influence comes courtesy of the “bigger than life” mindset, the classic Funkadelic lesson succinctly stated: “Free your ass and your mind will follow.” As a DJ and production team, MOONBOOTICA has represented maximum torsion since 1999. But endurance is merely one of the Hanseatic duo’s most distinguished qualities. Together they represent a bulwark against inconstancy and are nevertheless always ready to smash borders. Including their own. There are two of them, after all. A two-headed unity IS MOONBOOTICA, and that’s what it’s all about, IS: double-loaded, twice as focussed, twice as big. The double greatest. Even when Kowe Six or Tobi Tobsen should tread the boards alone, the format remains the same. Each of them is double MOONBOOTICA. And vice versa. MOONBOOTICA’s unique lack of respect in the interests of wildstyle is both a virtue and a call to arms. If refinement of taste should run the risk of imploding, there’s no better tonic than a dose of MOONBOOTICA. The antithesis to light and minimal dictates. It couldn’t be any easier or more effective. A track, an album, a set – well-being is just a question of the right dose. In case of doubt: more is more. Whilst somehow, the love of a grand pose notwithstanding, remaining the same, in appearance and reality. Without resorting to trickery, ironic dissociation or in-jokes, MOONBOOTICA offer themselves up to the audience. As vulnerable as they are sure of victory, the duo has everything a good, open drama needs. Only that everything does not end up in pools of blood. When others reach for anabolics and pimp their track to the limiter with everything they can get their hands on, Kowe Six and Tobi Tobsen simply rely on where they came from. Style was laid in their cradle like a golden curb chain. Their musical trajectory, five albums and hundreds of shows prove as much. MOONBOOTICA is, by nature, greater than everything else. Greater than you or I. Greater than Tobi and Kowe even. At which point we finally come to the introductory quote from Mike Tyson - but we don’t want to explain the fun of excess again. Take a look in the newspaper if you want to know how important it is. Or spend an evening with MOONBOOTICA.Their RA profile lists Moonbootique Recordings, Vendetta Records, Freakz Me Out, Katermukke and 2 more.often with Domenic D'Agnelli, Chris Di Perri, Jil Tanner, none of them here that night

Currently residing in the heart of Berlin, Germany, HARDY HARD is turning those knobs doing the job . He grew up in Dresden, East Germany, where he had very limited access to foreign music under the communist regime. Nonetheless, soon he tumbled upon radio stations broadcasting the most cutting edge music of its time. The path was paved for a lifetime profession of producing and playing records all around the globe. After the Berlin Wall came down in 1989 Hardy Hard’s DJ career started taking off. In 1991, he established himself in the music scene under the name “HARDSEQUENCER”. A few of his most known releases of that time are: “Noise is the message” Fire 101, “Amiga EP” Fire 102, Ear to Brain (1992/93). He remixed and produced songs for artists like Yello, Westbam, Moby, Africa Bambaataa , Marusha, Jan Delay, to H-Block. One of his weekly DJ residencies in 1995 was at the infamous Club E-Werk in Berlin. Having played national and international around the globe his name became a regular on events like the Loveparade, Mayday, Cream Fields, Nature One, Air-Rave and so on. In 1998 his personal music sequence had evolved and he renamed his artist name to “HARDY HARD” representing his new beats. Ever since, he has been seducing crowds with his unique accessible style of music on thousands of dance floors. Born and rooted in the hypnotic nature of the Allgäu - surrounded by cowbells and flowering meadows, two individuals found each other and their shared love for music. In 2018 Eva and Moritz's paths collided sending shockwaves into the music scene, and remain partners in crime until today. The culmination of their sound evokes an exciting nippy experience resulting in beautiful smiles on every face on the dancefloor. The significant elements of their tracks and sets have been described as, groovy and driving basslines, creaky synths, juicy midtones and clear - wide kicks. The catchy vocals and melodic breaks have become signature moves and encapsulate the sound concept of Moto Moto.Their RA profile lists KOSMOS.Last at Else in Sep · often with Karim Alkhayat, Dela Nesto, Section 8 Berlin, none of them here that night

“ARTISTINFORMATION: Anyone who is interested in house and techno in Berlin cannot avoid catching Wimpy in one of the German capital’s many clubs.”
their own biography
the whole biography
ARTISTINFORMATION: Anyone who is interested in house and techno in Berlin cannot avoid catching Wimpy in one of the German capital’s many clubs. He caught the house bug in 1989 in New York and already at the beginning of the last decade before the millennium he was not to be missed in Berlin as DJ, booker and event organizer. Thus he became co-founder, DJ and booker in the legendary clubs Subversiv and Electric Ballroom, and since 1993 found himself as resident DJ in Tresor Club, playing the last record at the closing moments of this legendary Berlin club. Hardly a club in Berlin has missed the chance to book his sets. For the last years he has initiated the successful Woitek&Leyk nights: a party in which he is one-half of a DJ team. Also national and international targets heralded his name and soon he began touring often through Japan, Spain and Russia. Naturally he followed with production work, through which he began to enter the charts. Right after the first release by his project Revolver Jesus, the track found itself on the “Green and Blue” compilation licensed on Cocoon, and further tracks and remixes followed. Whether as DJ or producer, the name Wimpy represents a distinct and original sound that, even if it always remains modern and with a contemporary pulse, never hangs on to any trends. His sets are stable, treading and tightly woven, take the club dancer on a voyage, and are able to tell stories without losing sight of the musical target. And if his productions sometimes reflect a darker side, they still retain a certain pop appeal.Their RA profile lists Superstar Recordings.often with Nico casceur, Das Amt, none of them here that night
