"Nono Gigsta has the unsettling habit of making everything work. Genres that shouldn’t coexist do, tempos slip without warning, and basslines arrive exactly when your internal compass has already given up. Widely described as the DJs’ favorite DJ, their selections remain stubbornly playful, precise, and allergic to formulas. Their 2024 Freerotation set sums it up neatly: fantasy-grade atmospherics dissolving into dancing mania, freakish jazz and pop samples smuggled in for mischief, and a glitched palette from around the world folded into an unbridled bass logic that refuses to sit still, slipping between half-time drag, D’n’B pressure, acid-licked steppers and dubwise afterglow. Since 2019, they have declined air travel in favour of trains, boats and time itself, including a transatlantic sailboat crossing followed by a public-transport-only tour of North America. Bass heavy, hard-pushing sounds that focus on keeping dancers sweating and smiling are Ubax’s goals when she plays. Born and raised in London, Ubax grew up surrounded by the sounds of Jungle, Drum and Bass, UK garage, Grime and Somali music. But it wasn’t until she moved to Berlin that a mixture of nostalgia and longing to hear more bass music motivated her to get behind the decks. A graduate from the fourth round of the Femme Bass Mafia mentorship programme. Ubax is inspired by the sounds of of the African diaspora, SWANA, Latin America and of course the UK. These diverse sonic influences manifest in her sets, building a bridge between old skool tunes and new sounds. More recently Ubax has been exploring her rich musical heritage and combining her two loves, bass and Somali music to create her unique musical experience for listeners.often with Genoe, BLTNM, Ingrid Hideki, none of them here that night

Founder of Berlin based crew Femme Bass Mafia - Dangermami is a pivotal part of Berlin’s new generation of artists and crews, helping shape the rising selectors of the city's bass scene and catering to her community of femme DJs. As both a DJ and producer, she is known for her love of extensive 140-170 mixing explorations, elevating energies with her trippy sounds & rhythmic twists in every set, playfully fusing classic UK sounds to modern bass music, blending dubstep, drum and bass, or footwork. The past years have seen the bass angel go global, blessing booths across the world from Europe to Asia, freshly coming off the back of an India tour. Not only gigs at Horst, Outlook or CTM Festival & clubs around Europe like Open Ground, fabric, La Station, De School or Berghain’s Saule, but also both of her residencies at Refuge Worldwide & RSO Berlin with her FBM crew have served to establish herself as one to watch.Their RA profile lists Bait.often with Ellen Allien, Jesse G, Xiorro, none of them here that night
