“Veras timeless music selection, a subtle mixing style and her authentic, elegant appearance behind the decks impressed clubbers and promoters all around the globe.”

Veras timeless music selection, a subtle mixing style and her authentic, elegant appearance behind the decks impressed clubbers and promoters all around the globe. Constantly evolving and picking up impulses, she follows her intuition rather then trends and she keeps surprising with unexpected sets. Veras media are her vinyls, that she’s choosing from an extended record collection. For her it’s all about the story a DJ is telling and the ambience being created, not about genres or playing one big tune after the other. Each gig she prepares passionately, imagining and selecting the right music for each place she's visiting. Her roots reach back to the golden age of techno and house- the early 90’s. Two decades of experience behind the decks turned her into a routined DJ, that is booked in numerous places all over the world. Since 2004 she has been a resident DJ at the Robert Johnson Club in Offenbach. As a producer Vera released music on respected labels like Perlon, Oslo, Hello? Repeat - solo works as well as collaborations with Ricardo Villalobos, Federico Molinari and with Maayan Nidam, under the moniker Mara Trax. Since 2011 Vera lives and works in Berlin, where she’s hosting regular nights at her favorite Berlin music spot, Club der Visionäre. In 2015 she founded the label Mellliflow together with her long time friend and DJ colleague Alexandra from Romania.Their RA profile lists Perlon, Moon Harbour Recordings, Cargo Edition, Oslo Records and 5 more.Recently at Ikii, Berghain · often with Tiago Oudman, Martin Gilleshøj, Cassy, none of them here that night

“She studied classical piano at the Conservatoire.”
their own biography
the whole biography
She studied classical piano at the Conservatoire. Over time, she became increasingly interested in the possibilities of unconventional sound sources and started to incorporate these into her compositions. Experimenting with sonic memories, everyday objects and sounds from surrounding environments allow her to create music that is both deeply personal and universally resonant. Margaux Gazur started to work with field recording to capture her daily life in Hanoi as a sonic memory. She has been composing soundscapes for her dad’s martial art videos, using recordings from those sessions, including the sounds of traditional martial art weapons and instruments used for celebrations. She then expanded this approach to her own projects. In her recent work, she has been exploring the sounds of various acoustic instruments, moving away from the traditional music theory. She uses the instruments as an experiential medium, focusing on the diverse sounds and emotions they can produce. Her love for organic sound pushes her to constantly engage her sonic surroundings, seeking out new sources of inspiration and experimenting with different techniques.often with Alex Jenkin, Reyzen, CuCiCuCi, none of them here that night

the whole biography
He plays elegant, groove-driven, dance music that inspires movement and is a lover of the dance floor and all it represents. Born and raised in New York City, he now calls Berlin home. Prior chapters in Seattle and Bretagne, and a thread that still runs through San Francisco. His influences include the bittersweet tail of the pre-Giuliani NYC club scene, the Detroit/Berlin axis, and the relationship between contemporary classical and electronic music. He is also a sailor, photographer, and audio engineer.often with Main Running Order, Clovis, Viktor Sloth, none of them here that night
