  Exploring the vinyl labyrinthes of Europe, Benabou has found herself inducted into the eclectic effervescent of the techno world. Drawing influence from notable labels (Token, Polegroup, Eaux, Semantica, Hypnus Records, Northern Electronics…), she delivers a project with experimental resonances. Her curious expeditions have led her since a young age to accumulate strong inclinations for the fluid and vaporous resonances of jazz, soul and psychedelic music. This results in a natural tendency to adorn her tracks with ambient and ethereal synths that immerses us into a dark and hypnotic dimension. C’est en parcourant les labyrinthes des vinyles shops européens que Benabou finit par se mêler à l’effervescence éclectique du milieu de la techno. Influencée par des labels notoires (Token, Polegroup, Eaux, Semantica, Hypnus Records, Northern Electronics…), elle nous livre un projet aux résonances expérimentales. Sa curiosité l’amène depuis très jeune à cultiver de forts penchants pour les résonances fluides et vaporeuses du jazz, de la soul et de la musique psychédélique. Cette tendance naturelle à orner ses tracks de nappes et de synthés éthérés fait alors sens et nous plonge dans une atmosphère à la foi sombre, disciplinée et hypnotique.

  So, there's this super cool guy named Alexkid. He's been doing awesome music stuff for almost three whole decades. First, he was in Paris, but now he lives in Berlin, which is far away. People really like him because he's really good at making music and he loves playing with music machines, like big musical toys. When he was a kid, he liked music gadgets more than video games, unlike his friends. He started with music machines and it led him on a big adventure of making cool music and working with others. Alexkid can do lots of things like a superhero. He can be a DJ (that's like the person who makes everyone dance at a party), a music maker, a tech expert, and a sound scientist. In the past, he made special music albums that everybody loved. He was also like the DJ boss at famous places where people dance. Like the Rex Club or Watergate. He's part of different music groups, and he's known by big music labels like Rawax, Fuse, Rekids, and other labels with weird names that sound trendy. His music stories are magical. They can make you feel like you're dancing at a concert or dreaming in a magical world, all from listening to his music. Even though he's always looking for the perfect music beat, he's also like a jazz explorer, finding cool sounds even when they seem a little strange. Now, he doesn't travel to parties as much because he's really good at making computer software that he loves, and also has discovered he likes to sleep. He's like a computer music wizard! But sometimes he still makes parties super fun in Berlin at a place called Renate. He makes everyone dance and have a blast. So, even though he's a grown-up now, he's still making music and making people happy.

  Barbara Preisinger first began dj-ing in 1996 in her hometown of Munich and was playing regularly at the the green flokati room of the "ultraschall" club. in the Summer of 1998 Barbara left Munich for Berlin, where she started working as a freelance press and radio promoter for electronic music. In the years that followed she represented various labels and acts from the experimental music scene, ranging from straight clubsounds to electronic pop and indie-electronia. 1999 saw her co-found the label ˜scape, together with Stefan Betke aka Pole, creating an open platform for the productions of Kit Clayton, Jan Jelinek, Deadbeat, Pole amongst many others. Before long she was a resident dj at regular scape nights in berlin and other locations within europe, japan and also further afield in north america. Over the years her musical preferences as dj have changed and developed continuously to House and Techno. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno, all the while remaining open towards interesting and outstanding tunes that makes you move. And she has been doing exactly that at many a prestigious location around the globe including festivals as Sonar, Benicassim, DEMF, Club Transmediale Berlin, Mutek, Unsound Festival .....to mention but a few. Autumn 2009 Barbara Preisinger founded the 12inch vinyl label SLICES OF LIFE which is focused on organic sounding and diverse club music, with releases by Betke, Mike Huckaby, Baaz, John Tejada, The Mole, Dana Ruh, Losoul, Alexander Skancke,... The label´s founding year also marked the beginning of the event series DEEP IN THE BOX with regular parties at Berlin´s Club der Visionäre, Wilde Renate, Ipse among other places. In September 2015 Barbara Preisinger moved DEEP IN THE BOX to the Globus floor at Berlin´s legendary TRESOR club, where she has been hosting her parties since then.

  Johannes Albert is a well-known House music producer and DJ from Berlin. For over 10 years, he has been running his own music label, Frank Music, and has become a key figure in Berlin’s club scene and beyond. His DJ career has taken him around the world—from London and Tokyo to Sao Paolo and Offenbach—thanks to his exciting sets and reputation for mixing different music styles. He has also released music on respected labels like Live At Robert Johnson, Rawax, and Permanent Vacation. Johannes blends different styles in music, mixing modern disco affairs with acid house, current rave revivals, and classics in the right moment. His sets are energetic and full of surprises, often showing off his open taste in music. He grew up in Franconia near Würzburg and got into music through his love for House and Disco. Over time, his interests expanded to include Techno, Italo Disco, and more. His talent and personality helped him rise from small hometown clubs to become a regular at top venues like Robert Johnson and international venues like Sunday Sunday in Mexico City.
