From sweaty basements of queer bars to festival mainstages at dawn, Charlie Vaux has emerged as a rising icon of Berlin’s underground scene, shining as a passionate and skilled selector and curator . As the visionary behind Neukölln’s genre-fluid party series LOVESHACK, resident artist at Hamburg’s iconic Queerpool and a member of the EBM/Darkwave label Crave Tapes, Vaux is firmly rooted in the queer underground and has carved a reputation as one of its most versatile and exciting emerging talents. After a decade spent twirling across Berlin’s dancefloors, collecting music and refining his taste, he is now making waves internationally , with appearances on HÖR and at renowned clubs like KHIDI, Tbilisi and Le Sucre, Lyon. Never one to resist a touch of drama and nostalgia, he effortlessly blends dark and sultry genres like Synthwave, EBM and Electro with brighter shades of Italo, House and Disco, crafting a signature sound that is eclectic, sensual, and vocal-driven. In 2025 he collaborated with Italian-born producer Leonardo Di Fiore on their cinematic debut EP “Changing Colors” , blending Vaux’ powerful vocals with dreamy synths, raw emotion and 80s nostalgia. The duo has since unveiled their new joint project, Opera Electric. Beyond the booth, Vaux channels his creativity into photography , filmmaking, and curating events that celebrate diverse music and queer community . A multidisciplinary artist through and through, Vaux channels fluidity and fearless self-expression into everything he does - creating unforgettable moments that resonate long after the last track fades.

With over 15 years of experience as an event host, vocalist, and DJ, Berlin-based Desolate Discotheque has steadily built a reputation in the European underground EBM-Wave scene. Following breakthrough performances in Warsaw and Athens, he has since ignited dance floors in Tbilisi, Tunis, Ukraine, and beyond. In 2019, he realized a personal dream by launching Crave Tapes, an independent record label dedicated to both emerging and established artists from around the globe. Franz Scala’s sets are as diverse as the music he curates as label head of Slow Motion. Weaving smoothly between Italian Dance, Psychedelic Disco and Proto House, Franz quickly turns the dance floor into a vignette-tainted retro nostalgia rave fueled only by his music. Born in Italy and now a resident of Berlin for a decade Franz has his roots in noise rock and elettronica but was led by the record collectors passion into acquiring a taste for modern and not so modern dance floor music. He frequently inspires dancers in clubs all over Europe with his eclectic blend of spacey House, New Wave, Italo and Acid speckled with hints of Electro and Chicago House. Aside from producing on his own imprint, he has releases on World Unknown, Bordello A Parigi, Bahnsteig 23, Tusk Wax, Mechatronica or Discodromo´s Cocktail d’Amore Music. Franz is link to many events around the german capital such as the monthly Wrong Era, Italian Dance Wave and Italorama night in Panorama Bar, Magic Waves or New Dance Fantasy Festival. Beside long time collaboration with Sameheads he is regular dj at Griessmuhle and Salon zur Wilden Renate. In 2013 he joined Dimitri SoEmotional in the “Studio Luce” project
