The young Norwegian thrives off the energy of the people on the dancefloor and has made a sizeable impact on the European electronic music scene all the way from his early releases on Neostrictly, to the acclaimed releases on his own label Quirk. Entrenched in love for vinyl and analog productions, Skancke is imbued with a passion for the very roots of house music and has found his path by carefully selecting records that have a uniqueness and originality to them. It should not be understated that his passion for music takes him far beyond the boundaries of electronic music and that this is a key point in his understanding of the musical language as a whole. Skancke’s passion for all things analog is reflected in all aspects of his life: from his work at Bikini Waxx, a record shop in Berlin specializing in second-hand vinyl, to his fascination with vintage studio gear. Because of this, you can clearly hear his passion for off the grid production and the rawness of the analog soul in his music. As a traveling nomad, Alexander Skancke has managed to take advantage of his lifestyle. His years in Oslo, Budapest and now Berlin give him as an artist the tools and inspiration to bring together far-flung influences and create something genuinely new and exciting.Their RA profile lists Eskimo Recordings, Contexterrior, Strictly Chosen, Invade Records and 3 more.often with Henriku, Trent Voyage, Sedef Adasï, none of them here that night

Impassioned to inject intellectual material into the electronic music scene, OHM HOURANI continues to challenge his understanding of sound. Alongside his innovative studio work, the Montreal-based artist embraces the intricate relationship between technology and electronic music. His record label ANOMA is dedicated to the distribution of minimalistic, distinctive sounds kissed with a jazzy flair. Funded by the Canada Council of Arts and released in 2019, debut full-length album Jazz of the Machine travels long a didactic path carved by modular synthesizers and drum machines, navigated in the company of carefully hand-picked musicians and vocalists. Hourani's playful enthusiasm manifests itself in his live sets and DJ sets that have piqued the curiosity of progressive-minded music enthusiasts and critics alike. His compositions showcase an infusion of organic sounds and live recordings with intricate sound engineering. Collective works have been showcased live locally at his beloved MUTEK Montreal Festival, while also travelled abroad as feature performances at the Japanese edition of Montreux Jazz Festival. His DJ sets have resonated warmly with club audiences at esteemed institutions such as Berlin's Club Der Visionaere, on board floating Parisian club Concrete, or at one of New York's renowned afterparties. It's an amorous and insightfully curious approach to creating sound. You might even call it anomalistic.Their RA profile lists Cynosure Recordings, Kommunikation Records, Ultrastretch, MICROZOO and 6 more.often with Armii1n, Monk, Gui Machado, none of them here that night

the whole biography
Que Sakamoto is a musician and producer From Tokyo, Japan. He is known for his eclectic blend of diverse electronic music styles, as well as his use of vintage equipment and instruments in his productions. His DJ sets are always a surprise, because he caters his performances for the crowd in each country he visits. He never repeats the same vibe, always tending towards weird, interesting music, as this is how he expresses his Japanese identity. In one go, he can take the crowd from disco to garage to dub, even to trance and experimental breakbeat. For his current and future projects, Que Sakamoto is shifting his focus towards his Japanese roots. His passion is Japanese music from the 70’s to 90’s, and playing this music to a new generation, especially in Japan, to help connect people to their roots. This new direction reflects Que Sakamoto's deep appreciation for his cultural heritage and his desire to showcase the rich musical traditions of Japan to a global audience. Que Sakamoto's most famous track is "Minimüzikhol", a collaboration with NT, which was released in 2019 and features a mashup of Japanese and Turkish electronic music. The track was widely played in clubs and radio shows around the world and helped to establish Que Sakamoto as a rising talent in the dance music scene. He is also a prolific radio DJ, having published mixes through Red Light Radio, The Lot Radio, Beats In Space, Rinse FM, and NTS Radio, as well as hosting his own show on Tibilisi’s Mutant Radio, 思考と発想 “Thoughts and Ideas”. In addition to his solo work, Que Sakamoto has collaborated with other artists and DJs, including John Talabot, Gaye Su Akyol and Hoodoo Fushimi.
