“Born and raised in Morocco, Chami has been djing there before moving to Lyon, France where he discovered his passion for techno.”

Born and raised in Morocco, Chami has been djing there before moving to Lyon, France where he discovered his passion for techno. Now based in Berlin, where he has definitely become fully integrated in the Berlin local underground scene. Chami is one of those artists that truly reflects the spirit of techno, no superficial exterior surface of these days but only focusing on the pure art form itself. He is also part of the face 2 face project with OPH where they played facing each other using 2 mixers and 4 vinyl turntables which lead them to play multiple times in Berghain. He is also part of the Minijob French crew which organizes illegal raves in abandoned locations in the outskirts of Berlin, welcoming everyone regardless of genre, origin and sexuality with a wide variety of music from house disco and techno. These events are organized without public promotion and managed to gather a solid regular audience base that supports their values and trusts what they do. With his strong and determined vinyl only sets Chami is able to showcase his talent on the decks and demonstrate his deep knowledge for this very technical art. When listening to him, you can lock in for clean, rhythmic and mental hours of no bullshit techno.often with Berghain, Sabine Hoffmann, Yamour, none of them here that night
“Dutch-born, Berlin-based DJ Laure Croft lives by the mantra ‘keep it sexy’.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Dutch-born, Berlin-based DJ Laure Croft lives by the mantra ‘keep it sexy’. When behind the decks she takes approach for the moment of release in the most powerful dancefloor experiences, when clothes come off and the energy reaches fever pitch. This sensual attitude manifests in the way she plays – a constant rush of high-intensity techno with little respite as she rips through a collection which spans the mid 90s to the mid 00s. She’s no vinyl elitist, but in touching a pair of Technics she found an internal excitement which was lacking from CDJs, where the tension around the mix and the story embedded in the grooves of a record feed into the energy of the party. She glides through her record bag after ceaseless hours of digging and selecting with an instinctive code which defines her unique sound. As her identity as a DJ takes an upwards curve, Laure views her path as a quest to continually find the tracks which fit her particular creative vision, pulling together the pieces of the puzzle from decades of techno culture carved into a near-infinite pool of uptempo, forward-facing machine music. As a woman in a male-dominated scene, she also pushes for a more inclusive climate on all regards, and considers her ever-increasing visibility an opportunity to inspire and enact positive change. With her husky Roxy (named after one of the first queer underground music clubs in Amsterdam) by her side, she holds true to techno’s inherent futurism by creating something new and ever-evolving from the already existing music she discovers and blends. The end result is a sound which celebrates honesty and integrity in the face of modern life’s rampant, paper-thin perfectionism.often with ROBUS, SUMME, HAMY, none of them here that night

“His parents love for dance music made him fall in love with the energy of house and techno at a young age.”

His parents love for dance music made him fall in love with the energy of house and techno at a young age. Fast forward 20 something years later and Spikey Lee is playing gigs at his homebase Amsterdam and is traveling through Europe to spread his love & knowledge for electronic music. He now is a proud resident of Hamburg’s queer party Kinky Sunday’s at PAL. He fills the room with a combination of 90’s techno, hard house, hard groove, booty bangers, acid and some trippy jump tracks. When Spikey Lee is behind the decks, his music tells a story that keeps you guessing what’s next and never, never lets you stop dancing.often with Mar/us, Buday, BOYCA, none of them here that night
