Prieste5s is a Berlin-based electronic musician, live-coder, and visual artist. In her own productions, Prieste5s fuses versatile influences from across the genre spectrum - bass-heavy sounds, hypnotic techno elements, breakbeats, and experimental influences characterize her sonic palette. Inspired by her fascination of the untouched wilderness, natural history, and geological exploration, Prieste5s’ sound is a synthesis of organic sound design and psychedelic atmospheres. Her music is an expression of the transience of experience, and the ephemerality of the natural world. As a passionate live-coder and a member of Berlin’s Algorave community, Prieste5s has performed as a musical live-coder at Algoraves and club events alike. In 2022, she was one of two artists chosen by Brighter Sound for their From the Depths commission, a project celebrating the legacy of Drexciya and Transatlantic Exchange, in which she created a hybrid modular / live-coding live set together with UK artist All Trades. As a producer, Prieste5s has released on labels including Black String Records, Underdub Records, Malör Records, Elements, From a Lost Place, Interlock, Madah Sounds, W133, ara - About Recording Artists, and Traverse. 320 strikes a delicate balance pulling deftly from the sounds of the underground while forging a sound uniquely his own. Existing singularly within both the deep listening and club spheres, his sound is deeply personal, introspective, and meticulously self-aware. Hazy ambient worlds develop through contemporary sound design and dubbed-out atmospheres. In club settings, sets take a tactile, stripped-back approach to house and techno, drawing from minimal, dub, and bass aesthetics to drive with clever rhythms and a tech-y cool. A rising curatorial voice in New York, 320 is a co-founder of the ambient/experimental performance series Ballet and an organizer of DURATIONS Festival. He has published mixes and recordings on Living Room, Theory Therapy, co:clear, dublab, and 29Speedway and performed at Nowadays, Public Records, MoMA PS1, kwia, The Lot Radio, Kiosk Radio ++ @childhoodceiling @ballet.newyorkoften with Carrier, Baroque Hoe, Brutal Twink, none of them here that night
