With LPs and 12-inches for Dial, Curle and Ostgut Ton, his remixes (e.g. Depeche Mode), his Pigon project together with RNDM or his drone and ambient pieces under his original name Phillip Sollmann for instance, Efdemin is equally at home in very different circles. In the world of art as much as in the techno realm, and while moving from intelligent pop quotes into the universe of Sun Ra, he does the splits effortlessly and without overstretching it. His sets demonstrate this to full effect, consistently maintaining a powerful sonic trademark via a low end focused, yet intricate and enchanting selection. Indeed, the capacity to dip in between deeper realms of sound and rhythmic exploration aids the artists preference towards longer sets. Before discovering the world of electronic music, Wise came from a background of drum and percussion which was guided by his Iranian father, a former professional drummer. This influence plays a key part in shaping the foundation of techno that he crafts. Subsequently, exposure to Europe’s dancefloors further triggered his passion, allowing him to understand the importance of the interaction between the physicality of sound on the human body. Fast-forward to 2024, this notion gave birth to his label ‘Moving Pressure’. Conceptually, as the title already hints at, the imprint focuses on the capacity of sound to guide movement and emotion, to weave into the fabric of our physical being. Budino is an Italian DJ and producer who has been based in Berlin since 2012. Every free moment is devoted to digging for new music and exploring fresh ways to weave her discoveries together. Her sets unfold like psychedelic tapestries, blending industrial beats, tribal percussion, and rich sonic textures. Over the years, Budino has refined her craft through unique edits and reworks that bring new life and versatility to the rare gems she tirelessly unearths. After a decade playing Berlin’s most iconic queer dance floors, her deep connection with New York City led her to being part of the Gloria Danger parties. Call it underground disco passion. Massi describes his style as an eclectic mix of house, disco, electro and techno – one may call it current-yet-classic. DJing has since led to production. These days Massi lets his obsession with analog synths run wild – usually he's holed up in his apartment studio, working on his latest productions. Massimilano's last and sophomore album, ‘With One Another’ (LARJ, 2014), was about celebrating the joy of human encounters and in parts seemed like a big get-together with like-minded artists and friends. The record quickly hit the number one spot in Groove magazine's album chart – and its creator hit the road. Shakolin is a long-time resident DJ of Closer in Kyiv. Since his relocation to Berlin, he has opened a new chapter in his sonic journey with Delirious, a vinyl-only record label and party series at Panorama Bar, which he co-curates with his artistic and life partner, Karine. After decades of relentless digging and many sleepless nights spent on Discogs, running one of the finest underground record stores, showing an interesting approach to his productions, and bringing a fresh curatorial vision to Delirious, he has become one of the most prominent artists of the Ukrainian scene, widely recognizable worldwide.
