Growing up in South Eastern Turkey in the underground rave scene and currently based in Berlin, she specializes in composing with analog synthesizers that are versatile with a groovy bounce. Banu creates uncanny experiences in her live sets by using sound design as unique transitions that blur the lines between music and sound art. She believes in the political possibility of sound and music, which she utilizes as an empowerment tool for minority groups with an emphasis on BIPOC and LGBTQI+ communities. Banu has played renowned Berlin clubs such as Berghain along with touring major European, African and LATAM venues like Bassiani Tbilisi, Modular Cape Town and D-edge Rio de Janeiro. Banu’s work has been awarded one of the Top Albums of 2022 by DJ Mag and received critical acclaim from other publications such as Clot Magazine. She has won numerous fellowships for her work, including a residency for young music producers in Namibia called Electric Desert. She is also a resident at Refuge Worldwide Radio in Berlin.Their RA profile lists Intergalactic Research Institute for Sound and Unrush.Last at Fitzroy in Aug · often with Berghain, THIRTEEN DOZE, VCO, none of them here that night

DJ City's first notable release came on Stockholm imprint Born Free in 2018. Previously he had been releasing small edition cassettes but it was this record "Teenage Sex Drive" that brought his music to larger audiences. By this time he had also recently become a resident DJ at Berlins infamous Cocktail d'Amore at Griessmuhle and was experiencing a renaissance in his djing as he got to know the collective and artists involved with the party. In 2020 he had a string of releases on Public Possession which since then has become the principal home of his music. With these releases he established his sound that departs from italo, synth pop and new wave, and through early Chicago style house music lands in what it sounds like today. He started doing vocals by himself and cultivated a type of world making that is present in most of his music still. Lately he has also been working with labels such as Live at Robert Johnson, Permanent Vacation, Uncanny Valley, Vitamina and Les Yeux Orange and at the same pace also been touring Europe, playing from Madrid to Stockholm.Their RA profile lists Permanent Vacation, Uncanny Valley, Cocktail D'Amore, Rat Life Records and 3 more.often with John Loveless, Sofiia Zoloto, ilbroccolovolante, none of them here that night

“Marcel aka MVHY is a Berlin-based selector and queer nightlife maker.”
their own biography
the whole biography
Marcel aka MVHY is a Berlin-based selector and queer nightlife maker. Originally from Witten in West Germany, he was first introduced to raving as a teenager at the beloved Goethebunker in Essen. In 2016 Marcel swam east to catch bigger fish in the Berlin Spree. With a smile that could kill, he charmed his way into positions all across Berlin’s nightlife industry. Serving drinks (and sometimes ice cream) he spent weekend after weekend soaking in hundreds of hours of live sets, buying the music he loved along the way. Eventually, Marcel’s picnic basket was full to the brim with Garage, Detroit and Chicago-tinged house music begging to be shared. It seemed time to lay out a big blanket and serve. During the lockdown, while the clubs were closed Marcel became MVHY, the 4/4 swing, vocal chop, swish swish bish on the decks. MVHY brings to his DJ sets the same fun-loving and carefree attitude he does toward hosting the rave. His biggest achievement so far? Heading back to where it all started to play for the Goethebunker in December 2022 and playing Bassiani in Georgia in 2024.often with Giulia Gutterer, Citizens Union, VINVAR, none of them here that night
