Meet Agonis, the Swiss-based producer and DJ who emerged in 2015, known for his genre-defying sound that blends elements of techno, house, ambient, and drum & bass. He's graced notable stages around the globe, from the Labyrinth Festival in Japan to Organik Festival in Taiwan and beyond. With a career spanning over a decade, Agonis has released music on his own label Amenthia Recordings, which he co-founded with Garçon, as well as on international labels such as Midgar, Smoke Machine, Kynant, and Traumgarten. Cerebral, powerful and unique best sum up Berlin-based Mary Yuzovskaya's take on techno. Despite coming up in the mid-2000s, Mary's route into techno is as rooted in the culture as it gets. While an initial stint in Berlin cemented a reputation for Mary's precise approach to her craft as a vinyl-only DJ who explores the subtleties of techno, it was a move to NYC in 2013 which took her career as an artist to the next level. Numerous residencies, not least a three-year run at the influential Unter, helped refine Yuzovskaya's unhurried, storytelling sound whilst developing a dedicated audience on the dance floor and the wider techno scene. Away from the decks and studio, her work as vinyl distribution manager at legendary Brooklyn record shop Halcyon provided the perfect stepping-off point for her vinyl-only imprint, Monday Off. A label she neatly describes as 'psychedelic techno', Monday Off has ploughed its furrow since 2017 and has introduced music from some of techno's most forward-thinking and out-of-the-ordinary artists. Back in Berlin since 2020, Mary's momentum continues with a diary that heavily features standout clubs and events like Berghain, Basement (NY), Gare (Porto), Hall (Tallinn), IFZ (Leipzig), Kablys (Vilnus), Pax Romana (Amsterdam), Rote Sonne (Munich), Smart Bar (Chicago) and Tresor (Berlin) whilst releases on such labels as Attic, Kvalia, Mnestic and Semantica, as well as her own Monday Off, help her reach an ever-growing fanbase. Shimmy Robin is a Hamburg-based DJ and producer whose sets tell a story without relying on clichés but with sounds that move her — emotionally and physically. Exploring intricate patterns and shifting textures, she crafts immersive soundscapes built on percussive grooves, hypnotic rhythms and ethereal synth lines. Carefully placed vocal snippets bring moments of intensity and release, adding emotional depth without overwhelming the momentum. She is creating an atmosphere that’s both deep and danceable, keeping the room locked in without ever sounding formulaic. Her roots go back to the former collective OSZIL, known for open-minded, non-commercial club nights. Since 2022, she has been co-curating the event series blipmotif alongside dj blip at the legendary Golden Pudel Club. Together, they also form the production project Rea Cephei. The blipmotif series explores the hypnotic spectrum of techno, inviting artists who guide audiences into trance-like states, while leaving room for playful detours through eclectic terrain. In 2023, she formed shimmy chanel with dj fako. A dynamic duo built on shared trust, tight mixing and a love for bold yet unpretentious club sounds. They deliver high-energy sets that move fluidly between technoid, drum-driven pressure, groovy undercurrents and the occasional cheeky twist — always rooted in rhythm, always aimed at the dancefloor. As a resident at Golden Pudel and with appearances at venues like Tresor, Else, About Blank, ÆDEN, Gewölbe, JAKI, or PAL/NTSC, Shimmy Robin has built a reputation for sets that shift the energy. Timnah lives, works and feeds the cats in the Northwestern extremities of Switzerland. Brought up in her parents’ jazz clubs and deeply influenced by her brother’s love for dub and soundsystem culture, she started DJing just after the massively feared Millenium Bug had threatened to offset our relation to time and space. Dedicated to drawing her own map of late 20th century sonic landscapes, she spent the early 2000s exploring 90s electronics including breakbeat, triphop, ambient techno, drum&bass, house and jungle. After a short but sweet excursion into producing in the early 2010s, Timnah dedicated herself fully to spinning the wheels and transversing genres, gravitating towards her current signature sound that spans immersive sound baths and intergalactic carpet rides in half-time.
