Born in 1985, Kaldera is a producer and DJ from Berlin. That is sounding pretty basic but you may haven't entered his universe yet. Being passionate for music production, he's been developing his vision of music over the past 5 years and is happy to share it now with his audience. His productions gathered a deep techno wave and a keen ability to twist and tear the melody and rhythms, extracting intense flows from it. After releases in 2014 under Karera and then under WONNEmusik, he started to make people discover his universe. He's not going to scorn on you, he's not pretending to be the best producer and DJ ever. He's not pretending to know everything on everything. All the contrary. One thing he knows is that he will be nice to you and your friends and that you will have a great time and dance a lot. Let's enter Kaldera's club experience, where time and space remains suspended and smiling souls fly. Having been exposed to electronic music primarily as a raver in Nairobi's growing electronic music scene around 2010, his love for the pulsing 4x4 beats, his keen ear and appreciation for underground music cuts and his growing musical collection soon lead to him making a switch from clubber to DJ. Stepping behind the decks at numerous parties and venues across the city, he soon became known for his unrelenting groovy selections, sourced through his passion to dig and uncover deep, quirky, and more experimental tracks. Quickly becoming a mainstay in the local electronic music scene, he held residencies at clubs such as the now defunct Insomnia Nightclub, The Loft and Budhaa Bar in Nairobi. 2014 saw the formation of the Temple Nairobi collective, a group of like minded individuals including Raj that began to promote regular parties in Nairobi, focusing on showcasing a distinct underground house/techno sound. Temple quickly became known as Kenya's foremost underground electronic music event series, and Raj built a notorious reputation there for his hypnotic, often extended, closing sessions. Jesper Aubin is the Swedish chef who quit cooking at restaurants & became a musician and producer. But he never stopped surprising his friends with extraordinary meals. When he creates music he uses his cooking experience. It has to be a balance between sweet and sour, salt and bitter. He needs to find the harmony that can affect all senses simultaneously. - Music and food is a perfect match for me. When I work as a chef I am always looking for new flavours and combinations, with music it’s the same thing. I am always listening for new sounds and marriages between the frequencies to find something new. And when the flavours are in balance according to my intensions it’s time for service! Jesper has had several successful events in Sweden during the last couple of years.
