French-born Jen Cardini (they/them) has been welcoming people into the discotheque for the last 30 years. Their belief that something more was hidden under the surface of electronic music has put them at the helm of tiny sweaty lesbian bars, flamboyant Ibiza superclubs, and off-the-beaten-path warehouse raves. Through their work as an A&R for the labels Correspondant and DISCH, their remixes and productions helped rephrase the world's understanding of the French dance music scene. They continue playing festivals such as Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, Field Day, Sonar, Butik Festival, Mutek, and more. Cardini is also a regular at some of the best clubs in the world, such as Berghain, Outra Cena, Bassiani, Basement, K41 or Club Raum. They have also been able to perform at iconic art venues like MoMA PS1 and the Centre Pompidou. Jen has also launched their own party series, Nightclubbing, a platform for queer underground artists focused on transmission, and is now the artistic director of the Nightclubbing Festival in Paris, taking place in September 2026.Their RA profile lists Crosstown Rebels, Dirt Crew Recordings, Kill The DJ, indigo:inc and 6 more.Last at Dark Matter Berlin in Aug · often with Byron Yeates, Carly Zeng, Maara, none of them here that night

DJ, producer, and singer Linn Elisabet embodies contemporary techno. Defying conventional frameworks and functionality, their compositions and performances are characterized by ethereal vocals, intricate sound design, and raw broken beats. With a classically trained background in cello and church choirs, it's clear where their reverberant soundscapes and symphonic narratives originate. In addition to their works on their own label, Acts of Rebellion, Linn has released music on renowned labels such as 47, Noise Manifesto, and Gegen, among others. > Acts of Rebellion releases alternative dance music that challenges genre conventions and traditional functionality. By fiercely representing diverse and transgressive expressions, the label aims to leave an indelible mark on techno, offering alternatives to the status quo and the established norms of dance music. The imprint's mission is driven by artistic collaboration, transmedial expressions, and custom limited-edition releases. Acts of Rebellion affiliates include artists such as Rå, Metaraph, Raär, Angel Karel, Amotik, and more.Their RA profile lists BPitch, Planet Rhythm Records, ARTS, Noise Manifesto and 6 more.often with Znzl, Marsch, Gioski, none of them here that night

Gegen Berlin resident and part of the core team, Mar/us is a sonic architect, crafting hard and fast techno beats that propel listeners into the deepest realms of self-discovery. In the heart of Berlin's techno underworld, Mar/us doesn't merely play music; they orchestrate a liberating and hedonistic atmosphere where sexuality and self-expression collide in an electrically charged dance of liberation. Their beats are not just heard but felt on a visceral level, fostering an atmosphere where inhibition dissolves, boundaries blur and the dancefloor resonates with the liberating power of music and movement.Their RA profile lists Gegen Records.Recently at Else, Loone · often with Buday, BOYCA, Spikey Lee, none of them here that night
“Nanzhan Yang is an interdisciplinary artist based in Berlin with nine years of formative experience working and living in London.”

the whole biography
Nanzhan Yang is an interdisciplinary artist based in Berlin with nine years of formative experience working and living in London. Yang’s artistic practice across sound, installations, A/V and hybrid live performances, experimental and dance floor DJ sets, sound design for exhibitions and artists films, within contexts ranging from galleries and institutions to club culture, festivals and alternative, independent spaces. DJ&Producer Working as a DJ and producer within club culture is a beloved and important direction in Yang’s artistic world. Nanzhen Yang’s club DJ practice focuses on techno music mainly in two fields - techno for danceflooors and darker, more ritualistic techno. Driving, immersive techno with unique cinematic textures and emotional impact defines Nanzhen’s dancefloor sound. During her eight years in London, she became a regular name at influential East London venue FOLD began a residency with Boudica and remained active within London’s creative communities. Since relocating to Berlin in 2025, Nanzhen has performed at Berghain/Panorama Bar (Säule), RSO, and toured internationally across Asia and Europe. In the same year, she released a single on the London-based label Inferno. Under Nanzhen’s darker, more ritualistic techno path, her sound is known for its dense yet balanced blending of noise, drone, EBM, spoken word, techno, and beyond. She has presented this side of her practice at Volnost in Seoul and with the London label Kaos, both of which strongly align with this sonic field. Experimental Soundscapes Nanzhen’s experimental practice includes experimental DJ sets, live sound performances and more. In her experimental DJ sets, her mixing style continuously explores the use of multiple players—not simply mixing tracks, but deconstructing songs into elements and layers to create narrative-led, cinematic sonic journeys with a strong sense of space and atmosphere. Her live performances and experimental soundscapes frequently work with spoken word, samples, and field recordings. She has presented sound works and performances at leading UK institutions, galleries, and museums, including Tate Britain (2024), Whitechapel Gallery (2024), ICA (2023), Somerset House (2022), and more. A/V and Hybrid Live Performance Nanzhen collaborated with London-based artists Ruka Nayu and Harry Appleyard on A/V live performances at Iklectik (2021) and FormaHQ (2023). She has also presented hybrid live shows, including a collaboration with Taipei- based artist Betty Apple at Groundless Factory in Beijing (2025), and with Rieko Whitfield at Kwia in Berlin (2026). Visual Arts and Installation Yang has exhibited visual and installation works at the Brunel Museum (2019), the Royal Society of Sculptors (2022) in London, and other spaces. Sound Design and Film Score Nanzhen has created sound design for galleries including The Cob Gallery in London for Elli Antoniou’s solo exhibition Passages Through the Caustics (2024), and for M17 Contemporary Art Center in Kyiv (2025).Her most recent film score and sound design work is for the Arts Council England funded film VERTICAL DIALOGUE, directed by Xinyu (2025).
