Fireground is the live electronic project of Angela and Daniele, a Neapolitan duo developing a rhythm-driven approach to techno rooted in musicality and the physical energy of performance. Originally from Naples in Southern Italy, their music channels the rhythmic sensibilities of Mediterranean culture into contemporary club music, combining groove-driven techno, house-rooted harmony and percussive dancefloor energy, a style that reconnects techno with warmth, movement and musical depth. After relocating to Berlin, Fireground became closely connected to the ecosystem surrounding Tresor Records, debuting on the label during its 30th anniversary celebrations and establishing an ongoing relationship with the historic institution. Their trajectory later expanded through releases on the Munich-based imprint Ilian Tape, placing the duo within a generation of artists exploring rhythm-focused approaches to techno. At the core of the project lies a hardware-based live performance where percussion, expressive synthesis and harmonic movement unfold through evolving rhythmic patterns. Occasionally expanding into extended live formats, the performance incorporates piano, opening the music toward deeper and more soulful harmonic exploration. Across clubs and festivals throughout Europe, Fireground have developed a reputation for groove-heavy performances that move fluidly between techno and house contexts while remaining unmistakably alive on the dancefloor.Their RA profile lists Tresor and Ilian Tape.Last at Tresor / Globus in Aug · often with The Shed, Handmade, The Advent, none of them here that night
“Few artists move as fluidly between club culture, sound research and practice as Sarah Wreath.”

the whole biography
Few artists move as fluidly between club culture, sound research and practice as Sarah Wreath. With over two decades spent collecting electronic music and a DJ practice, her relationship with sound is the result of long, patient craftsmanship - rooted in vinyl, deep listening, and an intuitive understanding of atmosphere and flow. Sarah’s work resists fixed categories. Her sets and productions unfold as immersive journeys, navigating a wide spectrum of tempos and textures, from ambient and tribal rhythms to techno infused with a distinctly psychedelic charge. Regardless of form, her music is guided by a sensitivity to frequency, space, and the body’s response to sound. Through live sets, sound baths, and curated gatherings, she consistently explores sound as a connective force - capable of fostering introspection and collective experience. After dedicating her time to studying sound engineering, in 2024 Sarah released her debut LP Integration on the renowned label The Bunker New York, underscoring her commitment to immersive rhythm and sonic exploration. This path led to her collaboration on Sandwell District’s album End Beginnings, placing her within the current vanguard of experimental techno while continuing to explore sound as a tool for connection and transformation.Their RA profile lists Sandwell District and The Bunker New York.Recently at Berghain, Tresor / Globus · often with Function, Eli Verveine, Sanna Mun, none of them here that night

Terrence Dixon, also known under the Population One moniker, describes his techno as “Forward-thinking ghetto electronics” and is widely recognised for his incongruous, minimalist sound design, authenticity, and dedication. A prolific producer, his 30-year studio career has seen releases on Metroplex, Tresor and Rush Hour to name but a few. Dixon's sound safeguards Detroit techno so that it will remain relevant in the years to come and his tracks have been some of the most exhilarating of the 21st century. He is a champion of the Detroit sound, who is firmly rooted in the city's grand tradition, but also propels things forward in unexpected ways.
