DJ Westfa is a Black queer DJ and cultural curator whose deep, soulful sets have become a staple in Berlin and Amsterdam’s night life. With roots in Suriname, Westfa channels a spiritual connection to music, weaving house, tribal rhythms, percussion, and deeper journeys into performances that are as emotionally resonant as they are rhythmically compelling. Over a decade ago, Westfa founded Our Society in Amsterdam—a community-driven event series that evolved into a platform for soulful gatherings and cultural exchange. Through Our Society, he has booked legendary artists like Theo Parrish, Moodymann, and Robert Owens, while also spotlighting emerging talent. The project has since expanded into fundraisers, panels and Our Society Radio on Refuge Worldwide, where Westfa hosts intimate conversations with guests about mental health, creativity, and personal growth, all soundtracked by music that has shaped their lives. As a resident DJ at Refuge Worldwide and a frequent performer at venues in Amsterdam and Berlin, Westfa brings a deeply personal energy to the booth. Known for his emotionally charged and rhythmically sets, Westfa has brought his sound to some of Europe’s most respected dance floors, including Badaboum, RAUM, Tresor, OHM, Shelter, Resident Advisor, Melt Festival and Is Burning - to name a few. His sets are more than just mixing tracks—they are acts of cultural storytelling and healing. Meriem S is a Berlin-based DJ, resident at Refuge Worldwide and saHHara, and co-founder of CALABADDIES. Born in Tunisia and raised in Italy, she learned early that a room can hold more than one language at once, and that music is often what translates between them. That understanding is what she brings to the decks. A digger first, she is drawn to records that reveal unexpected connections between sounds, places, and eras. Every set she plays becomes a story built from those connections. She builds slowly and turns sharply. She holds a groove until the room leans in, then takes it somewhere less expected. Whether in a small listening room or at peak time, she is chasing the same thing: a dancefloor that feels good in the body and keeps people engaged. Mr. Redley is a selector and producer from North London, who melds the eclectic rhythms of the UK’s Electronic dance music scene with the deep and soulful sounds of Black America’s House and Industrial Techno movements. Mr. Redley is also the founder of Black Wine Club, an organisation set up to diversify the world of wine.
