the whole biography
Vlady Che (b. 1995) is a classically trained musician from Kyïv, Ukraine, whose individual musical path was initiated in 2016 by repudiating the strictness of conservative music frames. While performing under a set of aliases — ϙue, dj chlorophyll, Vlady is currently a part of the following formations: ⁍ Biorhythm (est. 2019, UA): an organisation working with sound, body, and technology to address ecological and social injustices through participatory, trauma-informed, and ecological artistic practices ⁍ OO0oϙ0O0O00O (est. 2023, PT): post-ambient, neo-folk duo with o-a on vocals ⁍ VIRA | dd/mm/yy (est. 2024, PT): action platform, educational & charity events series in support of Ukraine’s resistance ⁍ Sounds Afield (est. 2025, EU): educational project popularising field recordings’ therapeutic potential among social workers in war-affected areas and trauma survivors ϙue, being the main solo project, carries a spiritually-driven approach, touching upon the concept of ego death and delving into the depths of consciousness through deep listening and human self-reflection. Each composition unfolds as a meticulously crafted sonic blanket — a vessel for profound exploration of an individual’s prenatal period, dealing with human trauma, transporting to a (safe) harbour of a primordial soundscape. In this space, sound balances vulnerability and strength, sitting between the natural and artificial — comforting with the coldness of intimacy and the vastness of self-awareness. Over the years, his creative collaborations spanned cultural curation and multidisciplinary, mixed-media projects. The sound art and music collaborations include artists like Poly Chain, Sestry Feldman, Volodymyr Gnatenko, equii, dj snork, usof, stone (f.k.a. Mistareez), Comechelet. In early 2025, Vlady issued a Post-Ambient Manifesto, reflecting on the state of beatless music in the 21st century. Featured in: RA, Mixmag, Inverted Audio, Pitchfork, Crack. Aired on: NTS, Noods, Bloop London, LYL, Kiosk, Rinse France, Quântica, 20ft, Gasoline, Punctum, Ola, among others.Their RA profile lists VAAGNER, Bio Future Laboratory, Mystictrax, Jungle Gym Records and 2 more.often with XTCLVR, Udda, Mirochka, none of them here that night
