HEFTY - Purveyor of Darkness Booking Info - info@ragnarok-berlin.io From a serial killers basement, somewhere in London UK, Hefty has pioneered the darkside since 2010. Undoubtedly the preeminent master of darker sounds, skillfully preparing you for the impending apocalypse with his unique style. His music is heavily influenced by a wide range of subjects including geo politics, psychology, world affairs, conspiracy theories, the occult and modern history. It's small wonder Hefty has enjoyed the attention of well respected labels, and most importantly, has earned the loyalty and dedication of fans who have been known to travel for hours just to watch him spin. Famed for his raw, heavy uncompromising dark techno sets, this London based DJ has been in international demand over the past few years, conquering crowds all across Germany (including Tresor + Magdalena Berlin), France, Belgium, Hungary, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Croatia, Poland, Holland, UK, and even as far as Brazil, Canada and Australia. After over 2 years of this growing support from his friends, peers and fans, Hefty was inspired to create his own label: Darker Sounds. Focused solely on showcasing underground dark techno and minimal, Darker Sounds never compromises its dedication to keeping the style and quality consistently high. Unafraid to constantly refine and evolve his style, Hefty has since ventured into the world of psychedelic trance. Carving out his own path, he has used his techno production techniques to create his own style of dark, driving psychedelic trance. He created his own psychedelic label "Erebos Records" - a platform for releasing the darkest psy trance from the best undiscovered artists from around the world. This psychedelic adventure then lead Hefty to start producing his own version of downtempo / chillout music, which he calls Dark Tek. Produced at 100bpm, this style is dark, heavy and hypnotic. It allows Hefty to truly experiment with the dancefloor and bring awareness to the various dark subjects that inspire his music. Now armed with a trifecta of genres, Hefty is on track to further cement his reputation as an unstoppable force in the realm of dark techno, minimal and psychedelia. When deKai celebrated his first techno party in 1992, it was a turning point for him. Until 2002, his friends were DJing and shaping his sound. In 2004, when he visited the Ohm Club in Madrid and none of his friends were DJing in clubs anymore, he purchased 2 Technics and 1 mixer upon his return. The initial records were bought, and the beginning was more than bumpy :) When Günni came by with his records, things took off. Every weekend, the two played at home, and then they started with smaller gigs in bars and clubs. Regularly at Braaaatz and the 3Klang parties at Ohrakel. Even back then, his passion was the dark, driving techno, also due to his affinity for heavy metal. A fan describes his music as the feeling of being chased by a predator and running for one's life. After clubs in Bavaria started closing at 4 or 5 am, which no longer suited his party rhythm, an exciting year in Berlin followed in 2009, with the conclusion of arriving in Berlin on December 1, 2009! One of his milestones on his journey was a 10-hour set at Magdalena at Schillingbrücke, after which the club's basement was named after him (Kai's Keller), and another at Hoppetosse for a company party. With the founding of Ragnarøk in 2013, a new path began, wild, eventful, and unrestrained until 2022. In 2023, a new era began with the founding of the label "Valhall Records" and the party series "Call of the Valkyries." Ragnarøk is DEAD and becomes Valhall Records: tinyurl.com/4xdhuku2 Since December 2023, he has been a proud resident DJ at Bude in Kutaisi, Georgia.

Empro grew up in Thuringia in East Germany during the late 80s. His interest on the variety of electronic music awakes in the mid-90s. Following the move to Berlin in 2000 and an intense journey through different styles of the new music movement, he quickly dipped into the scene and became an active part of it. Until today techno music has not lost anything of its charm to him. Empro has the pleasure to play his music in clubs and on festivals all over the world. In 2012 he became a resident DJ at the world-famous club Sisyphos in Berlin. Empros first DJ gig was in 2003 at Underground Berlin below Alexanderplatz. Numerous gigs followed and within a short time he played in Berlins most popular clubs like Panoramabar, Watergate, Tresor, Bar25, Maria, WMF and Polar TV. You can describe Empros music as trippy, twisted, dynamic, organic, daisy and always forwards. He is well-known for his energetic enduring TechHouse Sets, alongside he invites everyone to listen, feel and enjoy the music and makes everybody dance like nobody is watching, also himself. Taken by the desire to create something unique he founded together with Ruede Hagelstein the booking agency Mind The Crap in 2004. Afterwards he decided to set up his own and still ongoing business project „free agency“. In 2011 he had his own Techno Club called Levee. Besides he is the initiator of varied party series in and around Berlin like HomeSweetHome (in co-op with Marcus Meinhardt) and Betriebsfeier (founded in 2003 together with Coco Berlin). Moreover he supported the Melt!Festival with organizing the Sleepless Floor for many years and was involved in festivals like SonneMondSterne, Fusion and Sonar OFF. Apart from being a DJ all over, he released since 2006 his own productions and remixes on several labels like BAR25, Heinz Music, Upon.You Records and Freizeitglauben. Empro is currently back in his studio and you should watch out for his next releases.
