Andrea Ferlin was born in Cagliari in 1973,and his interest towards dance music and the buying of his first turntables all began when he was fifteen years old. After a few years he started to play a different sound from the ones proposed by all the other disc jockeys in Sardinia. It was a significant year for house music. After a first approach with the house sound he got interested in the electronic side of it: what we all know as "acid". Between 1992 and 1994 his sound changes and develops into techno. Triptease live is a vision born on one of those inspired morning hours, opening up new ways of looking at the world. The idea behind their live performance stands for the best traditions of electronic music itself. They blend together polyrhythmic grooves and harmonic atmospheres in an uninterrupted flow of sound layers. Their live performance recreates the dynamics of studio improvisation where synths, guitars, samplers and drum machines interweave together endlessly. Triptease performed live at iconic venues such as Club der Visionaere and Hoppetosse in Berlin, Fuse in Brussels, Mutabor in Moscow, Studio 338 and Red Gallery in London amongst others delivering hours of everchanging beats and sparkling musical ideas. Many musicians and producers - to name a few Claudio Puntin, Cesar Merveille, Yonatan Levi, Greg Paulus, Ion Ludwig, Samuel Roher and Daniele Papini - have joined their improv project through the years and contributed to the experimentation. From this perspective, their live set crosses over between music and technology, with its power to form networks and scenes that are a catalyst for creation and transformation in the form of live and studio performances. Raised between Istanbul and New York City, Omer Bil, better known as O.BEE, has cultivated a musical palette that encompasses the two culture hubs and everything in between. Known for dancing in between different genres and styles, juggling the traditional and the avant-garde, O.BEE weaves together unknown yet familiar sonic landscapes, in a signature style that reflects his own musical identity; optimistic yet rebellious and filled by passion. Liberating the dance floor from the accustomed rules and stepping away from functional expectations, he instead cultivates musical trips for both the dancer and the listener, communicating with the north and south of the body, fueled with intellectual and sensual energy. During his formative years in New York City, O.BEE embarked on a multifaceted journey, characterized by both scholarly pursuits and immersive experiences on the dance floor. His academic path led him to study Contemporary Music at the prestigious New School in Manhattan, where he found himself among the finest jazz talents of his generation. Simultaneously, he delved into the vibrant nightlife scene as a resident DJ and avid participant at the renowned New York party series, ReSolute, where he honed his craft and deepened his connection to the dynamic energy within the city’s underground culture. In 2020 he launched Jigit, a collective and record label alongside Tomas Station and Asli Tunaman, serving as a platform for their creative output, encompassing original productions and selections from their inner circle. This multifaceted venture, comprising a record label, event series, and lifestyle brand, has garnered a devoted global following, thanks to its distinct artistic ethos. Apart from his heavy touring schedule to new destinations, O.BEE holds regular residencies in renowned institutions Fabric, London and Club der Visionaere, Berlin as well as infamous Ibiza club DC-10 where he and Tomas Station are residents of the formidable Circoloco Mondays. Across the pond in Brooklyn's H0l0, O.BEE has established an “All Night Long” series where he can cast his spell to listeners in mind bending open to close sets that have run up to 16 hours. Ricardo Villalobos is a Chilean electronic music producer and DJ. He is well-known for his work in the minimal techno and microhouse genres. Villalobos was born in the capital of Chile, Santiago, in the year 1970. However, at the age of three he moved to Germany with his family after General Augusto Pinochet overthrew the socialist government of Salvador Allende in 1973. When Ricardo was around 10 or 11 he started to play conga and bongos. Though he loved music, he could never see himself as a musician. In the late eighties he began to make electronic music. From a very young age he has been a a big fan of Depeche Mode, even following their tours around Europe to listen to them. Villalobos takes much of his inspiration from Depeche Mode, as well as other artists such as Daniel Miller, Thomas Melchior, Baby Ford, Daniel Bell and Andrew Weatherall. He has also taken inspiration from rhythmic South American music. Villalobos began to play his music at parties while he was studying at university, but this was only for his own enjoyment. He started a label, Placid Flavour, in 1993 but this was unsuccessful.
