the whole biography
ÜBERKIKZ combines driving kicks, tooly synths, tribal and folkloric elements into a hypnotic journey. With each kick, she tells stories that resonate deeply, encouraging a confrontation with one's origins. Free from thought, almost instinctively, her sets are a call to surrender to the moment and experience all these raw emotions in its purest form. At the heart of her sets lies the belief that we all share a common origin – beyond nationality, culture, gender or sexuality. Music is the universal bond that unites us, and this is the essence ÜBERKIKZ aims to express through her art: the power of rhytms to bring us together as a community and remind us of the unity of all humanity. She also publicly positions herself against sexism, discrimination and racism, as she wants the scene to become more inclusive. ÜBERKIKZ does this by actively supporting FLINTA* artists and encouraging them to make space for themselves in a male-dominated scene.Recently at DSTRKT Club Berlin, RSO.BERLIN · often with DJ Hyperdrive, future.666, fumi, none of them here that night
