While fresh, new, & relatively unknown to the world a precocious young mind continues in his passion for creativity. Born to parents of the infamous Studio54 era, Jon was trained as a dancer before his first teenage club permanently changed his artistic trajectory. His uncle, a bouncer at various nightclubs, passed him a copy of the resident DJ's latest record. He soon set out to find new music, which peaked his interest in learning to DJ, and spent the next years studying a thriving New York City culture while practicing at night with the help of various DJ mentors. The focus and dedication eventually paid off. A move to Brooklyn paved the way for the launch of his first residency at De La'funk, an after-party community, where he honed his craft as a DJ and narrowed his focus toward the dark, spacious and ultra-detailed techno he’s now known for. He undermines and overrides expectations and refrains to limit the music for any reason. There is no need to divide his work into avant-garde or club context, because he effortlessly merges his whole spectrum into a performance that is all him. As it happens. Residing in Berlin, he’s busier than ever; with recent releases of his fresh Respect The Craft imprint, very few artists managed to stay in the game for so long and remain this fresh, humble, and sonically adventurous. From working on an instrumental trip-hop album and managing a string of secret labels to co-producing music and touring alongside no other than Ricardo Villalobos and DJ Sneak, these last years further established Tripmastaz as a world-class DJ and an artist to look out for. Born of Indian and American heritage, Solana's upbringing was steeped in the rich tapestry of classical and world music, courtesy of her familial influences. She studied piano, flute, and voice, yet felt constrained by their limitations in expressing the kaleidoscope within her soul. During her teenage years, she was exposed to commercial trance anthems and some random techno sets from older friends, but it wasn't until she encountered the transcendent realms of Fabric, the sonic landscapes of Ricardo Villalobos, Perlon, James Holden, and other high-quality artists including the raw energy of Detroit and Chicago that her true musical odyssey began. It was a transformative year-long backpacking odyssey through Southeast Asia that set Solana on her path. Amidst the majestic Austrian Alps, she found herself amidst a vibrant community of UK ravers, immersed in the pulsating heartbeat of dance music culture. For fourteen years, Solana meticulously curated her sonic palette collecting records, drawing inspiration from deep house to dub techno, microhouse to drum 'n bass. Her journey was one of collector to selector, as she danced through legendary venues like Berghain, Club Der Visionaere, Robert Johnson, and other hallowed spaces. Yet, it's in the present moment that Solana finds her true calling. In 2023, she founded AIRPLANE MODE, a label and event series dedicated to fostering immersive experiences that transcend time and space. In the year of 2012 Aamir started as a DJ and was fascinated by the power of music and its ability to connect people. Over the last years, he has developed an unconditional love for vinyl, always digging for new tracks while still keeping an eye on the good old classics. A careful and sublime selector, Yoshitaca has been playing records for over two decades. Originally from Japan, he now lives in Berlin producing, curating, and doing what he most loves – DJing. Constantly searching for that magical moment, when the DJ and audience both are enveloped by a rich, warm, and surprising sound, he regularly carries the audience on a sonic journey. His story began in his mid-teens, influenced by Japanese street culture and naturally gravitated towards digging and finding rare records and sounds. Not constrained by any genre, he is fearless in his search for the ideal, long mix which always leaves joy on the dance floor. After several years as a resident DJ for Sunday afternoon parties at Womb (Club) in Tokyo, he joined forces with the Fasten Musique crew to create a label and event brand. With this new crew, he brought international DJs to Tokyo and started to produce and remix for various famous labels. After relocating to Berlin, he started to tour and play around the world at various iconic venues. From playing in secret after parties on the coast of Croatia to playing large warehouse venues, his play style and track selection always gets the crowd grooving and dancing until hours pass by in seconds. Also pushing the boundaries of music production, he created his own label Phonik in 2018. Starting with his own EP “Thoughts or Feelings” he displays and presents to the world his own unique views on house music.
