English: For his music, the DJ and producer from Berlin, Chris Hanke, finds inspiration in everyday commodities: delicious food, a glass of tasty wine or a captured moment in Berlin’s world nightlife. He absorbs the tones, pushes them back and forth and creates finest sounds. This process results in his unique style that can be classified somewhere between groovy house music and techno but nevertheless contains traces of Ambient, Jazz and Classic. Time is an important factor when Chris is creating his unique sounds. Spending weeks on producing his sounds and hours for his sets, he bestows honor to his music. Chris hates nothing more than boredom which he tries to avoid every day by creating his unique sounds. People from all over the world love his music which meanwhile is published by the renowned Ritter Butzke Studio Label and on Aromamusic. On both labels and with his DJ-Sets he has proven that his distinctive sound is far away from mainstream.

  • Powel

There’s so much levity and buoyancy in Powel’s music that you might be surprised he’s from a small town in East Germany. After he started out with the piano as a kid, he went on to play in bands, producing tracks that got heavy radio play. When he started DJing in 2008, he used his indie, rock and pop roots as seasoning, serving up house music that’s deep, but not dark. Powel toured extensively with his bands and regularly appears at international festivals and clubs - including the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man, Germany’s Fusion Festival, and All Day I Dream parties around the world. Over 20 years of being on the road and all over Berlin’s club scene inform Powel’s tracks, remixes, and sets that all manage to play your heart like a fiddle. Giving you sounds for feelings you didn’t know you had, Powel seamlessly weaves ethereal, dreamy narratives over beats that shake you every which way. His genre-hopping, spanning afterhour clubs to documentary film scores and everything in between, makes his music reliably expert, but always keeps you on your toes. He defies all solitary DJ tropes, constantly forming new collaborations and cranking out new sounds.
Their RA profile lists Wunderbar Recordings, FINA Records, All Day I Dream, Sound Avenue and 6 more.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Although born in former Czechoslovakia in the mid 80s, Slurm grew up in the south of Germany. Through an early classical music education he discovered a deep passion for all kinds of music such as Hip Hop, Rock, Pop and Psytrance. As an active member of the psytrance scene he faced many problems organizing parties in the region and therefore fled to berlin at the age of 18 in search of like-minded spirits. But the psytrance scene had nothing exciting to offer anymore and so he found his way into techno and house music. By supporting his friends who dj and organize events, he fell into the spiral of djing and finally bought his own decks. Since 2009 Slurm has been expressing his love for dance music in almost all clubs in berlin and became an important member of the berlin-based "Tanzmichmal" crew and also a resident at the "Golden Gate". His style can be considered colourful and diverse between the genres of techno, house and disco with charming surprises.

weird - deep - genre - bending - house - muisc - for - you- and - me...... resident at apogee presents... regular at fabric and tief owner of N.o.N MUSIC The Pushamann What's the connection between hairdressing and electronic music? “None!”, you might think... Well, think again. The Pushamann is the missing link between these two creative industries, injecting just as much flair and panache into his DJ sets as he does when whipping up his latest creation in the salon. The Pushamann is 31-year-old Charles Kerr, a man who has become a favourite at fabric, making regular appearances at the seminal club since 2008. During a career spanning 10 years Kerr has also set up his own label NoN Music, landed his own show on Rinse FM and has several releases under his belt. His penchant for all things 4/4 means he provides a diverse, though cohesive, performance wherever he plays, merging traditional house grooves, nu disco, deep techno and venturing into leftfield territory when the situation allows. There is no preference with genres, “If I like it, I'll play it,” he says. It's as simple as that. Over the years, the hairdresser has proven time and again that he is a cut above many of his peers when it comes to connecting with his audience and working up dancefloors into a frenzy. Inspirations range from US and UK garage to funk, soul and disco while UK titans such as Craig Richards and Terry Francis have also fueled The Pushamann's love for music – in fact, the latter of the two was responsible for his big break. Terry Francis booked The Pushamann to play at fabric six years ago and he's been a constant fixture ever since, playing at the club every three months. Despite this dream residency and its fringe benefits he's continued to work hard and has never been complacent, knowing full well that the music business is a fickle one and the only way to ensure longevity in one's career is to maintain a consistency high work ethic. The Pushamann's dedication to his night-time career has seen him play at venues such as Turnmills (RIP), Corsica Studios, Basing House, Cafe 1001 and Building Six to more intimate locations such as the infamous Star of Bethnal Green and Rolling Stock. While recent overseas gigs include an appearance at Berlin's Kater Holzig. In the process of building a long-lasting career, he has invested all his spare time and energy into maintining his club night, Nature or Nurture, where he's the mane attraction along with Terry Francis. This event has led to the birth of an offshoot label, which he cites as representing “real house sounds for real house heads”. Artists including Lewis Ryder, Marc Ashkan, Zeitgeist and Mitch Davis have all released on the label, as well as Kerr himself. His own productions reflecting the energy and dexterity he displays in his DJ sets; with sleazy, deep and sensual grooves built for the dancefloor. As 2014 gets into full swing, Kerr looks to the future with an assured focus on maintaining the high level he has already achieved. More appearances at fabric are already booked in for his ever popular NoN Music takeovers, plus gigs overseas including bookings in the ever fertile German capital, Berlin where he'll be playing at The Chalet club. This year will also see a renewed focus on production, with an EP in collaboration with his good friend Alexander Wall due for release via NoN very soon, along with many other studio projects penciled in for this year. With a ten-year-long career already behind him, The Pushamann has the experience and knowledge to continue marching on to the very top. You can rest assured that he's hair to stay!
Their RA profile lists Electric Sheep, Bigger Deer Recordings and N.o.N Music.

A keen hunter of driving, hypnotic, dubby techno, deep-tech, nasty basslines, breaks, melodic electronica, classic, groovy, sexy deep and tech house beats and the weird and trippy things in between, Vitka started collecting records at the age of 14 in the early 2000s in Hannover, northern Germany. She later met her soul family in Australia, where she spent the past decade running parties as part of the Subsonic Music crew and, more recently, the Tabularasa Collective. Now back in Berlin and driven by the space for self-expression and inner liberation that the dancefloor holds in this ever-chaotic world, Vitka is known for her unique sound selection, understated mixing style and a love of bending genres into unexpected shapes. There’s nothing she loves more than taking dancers on a trip—creating unity on the dancefloor and an infectious energy that she smears all over the room and into your soul. She also enjoys shooting the breeze with people from all walks of life, frosty Weißbier, foot massages, and watching people have a really really good time.

Born in Wolfsburg, Germany in 1975, Koljah started out learning drums and classical percussion instruments at the local music-school, and from there went onto play in various jazz, rock and metal projects as well as in classical percussion ensembles and in the orchestra. However it wasn’t until his first experience of a techno party that he found his true calling in music. Having been blown away by the atmosphere and energy of the monotonic beats, he decided that dance music was his way. After learning to mix he started putting on parties in his hometown, until he finally moved to Berlin in 2003 and got himself a studio that things really started to happen. From his first release, 'I.L.M.B.I.B./My Room' on Phil e Records in 2005, there has always been a touch of class about his production work that has won him praise from Dj’s around the globe. His next release saw him get signed to Sushitech, which resulted in the 'LeckerKuchen' EP, and more recently the 'Loops For Work' EP, not to mention his remixes of Mikael Stavöstrand’s 'Housedays', Fusiphorm’s 'Green Chocolate' on Minimood or Oliver Deutschmann’s ‘I Won’t Tell You Why’ on Konsequenz. In 2007 his friends Stephan Hill and Oliver Deutschmann launched ‘Vidab-records’ with the ‘Fett Cash EP’ produced by Stephan Hill & Koljah who lately got signed the track ‘Nonresponder’ to Ame’s Label ‘Innervisions’. In early 2008 he released the ‘Coffee Papa EP’ on Vidab and is now working on a new EP and his first Album on Sushitech planned to be out in early 2009. In the beginning focussed on reduced rhythmical Techno tracks he’s now heading to a more “classical” sound somewhere between House Music Techno. Every time with a clear attention to rhythm but on the same way looking to create emotions cause dancing is not about working - it’s about feeling
