Who they are
“As an artist, Batu continually strikes out on his own.”
their own biography
the whole biography
As an artist, Batu continually strikes out on his own. Rightly hailed for his distinctive slant on modernist techno and experimental club music, he’s also prolific beyond the dancefloor. His is a sound marked out by bold shapes and angular expressions, whether strapped to physical rhythms or not. His 2022 debut album Opal took his accomplished sound design into broader spheres of expression, while production work for FKA Twigs saw him approaching pop sensibilities with his non-conformist sonic palette. As well as his production work, Batu’s presence as a DJ on the international club and festival circuit touches on venerated events such as Glastonbury, Dekmantel Festival, Sonar and Unsound. The flexibility in his sound also translates to the intimacy of smaller underground events - an environment which remains inspiring even as he graces some of the biggest stages for electronic music globally. Beyond sonics, his interests expand into visual work too, having produced and directed the video to his own track ‘Solace’ and collaborated on an A/V composition with Harry Butt for his Crack Magazine cover feature - one of multiple cover features he’s been placed on. Taken alongside his music, Batu’s holistic engagement with electronic music culture adds up to a considered spectrum of output and efforts with a shared aim - to push things forward.Their RA profile lists XL Recordings, Hessle Audio, Livity Sound, Timedance and 1 more.often with JASSS, KAVARI, Dj Babatr, none of them here that night

Having been at the forefront of the international electronic scene for years, Mount Kimbie (Kai Campos & Dominic Maker) need little introduction. After three critically acclaimed albums with Hotflush & Warp Records and countless world live tours, Kai’s focus has moved to back to one of the groups original priorities; the dancefloor space. Kai’s DJ sets offer a glimpse beyond Mount Kimbie’s varied influences of avant-garde tastes from across all forms of electronic music, revealing a harder, club-focused orientation and cementing Kai as a key DJ for a new generation of clubbers. This formidable reputation has built further with Mount Kimbie’s acclaimed 2018 DJ Kicks mix, which offered a prismic look at Berlin minimalism, snapping electro and pounding techno through the same restless experimental lens as their studio work. In 2020 Kai is set to delve even deeper into this world with continued worldwide DJing, B2B mixes, and new music.Their RA profile lists Warp Records and Hotflush Recordings.Last at Else in Aug · often with Dajusch, Polar Inertia, OK Williams, none of them here that night

Gianluca Caiati, known by his stage name Kaiser, is a DJ and producer within the electronic music landscape. Born and raised in Southern Italy, his artistic path has carried him from his early beginnings to the vibrant city of Berlin, where he based himself from 2020 to 2025. Today, he divides his base between Italy and Portugal while still considering Berlin his home. From a young age, Kaiser showed a natural connection to music. Enchanted by the power of electronic sounds and the immersive environments they create, he gravitated toward techno and began refining his craft behind the decks. His talent and dedication quickly caught the attention of the international electronic music scene. Known for a signature sound that blends hypnotic rhythms with driving, pulsating basslines, Kaiser has become a sought-after performer in clubs and festivals across the globe. The energy, precision, and emotional charge of his sets have earned him a loyal following and a respected reputation within the community. Driven by a desire to contribute to the culture he cherishes, in 2017 Kaiser founded his own record label: K S R (Kaiser Sound Records). The label serves as a platform for emerging artists and a home for high-caliber techno releases that resonate with listeners worldwide. Beyond touring and studio work, Gianluca remains deeply connected to the music community, pursuing collaborations, exploring new territories, and continuously pushing his creative boundaries. “Cerebral, powerful and unique best sum up Berlin-based Mary Yuzovskaya's take on techno.”

Cerebral, powerful and unique best sum up Berlin-based Mary Yuzovskaya's take on techno. Despite coming up in the mid-2000s, Mary's route into techno is as rooted in the culture as it gets. While an initial stint in Berlin cemented a reputation for Mary's precise approach to her craft as a vinyl-only DJ who explores the subtleties of techno, it was a move to NYC in 2013 which took her career as an artist to the next level. Numerous residencies, not least a three-year run at the influential Unter, helped refine Yuzovskaya's unhurried, storytelling sound whilst developing a dedicated audience on the dance floor and the wider techno scene. Away from the decks and studio, her work as vinyl distribution manager at legendary Brooklyn record shop Halcyon provided the perfect stepping-off point for her vinyl-only imprint, Monday Off. A label she neatly describes as 'psychedelic techno', Monday Off has ploughed its furrow since 2017 and has introduced music from some of techno's most forward-thinking and out-of-the-ordinary artists. Back in Berlin since 2020, Mary's momentum continues with a diary that heavily features standout clubs and events like Berghain, Basement (NY), Gare (Porto), Hall (Tallinn), IFZ (Leipzig), Kablys (Vilnus), Pax Romana (Amsterdam), Rote Sonne (Munich), Smart Bar (Chicago) and Tresor (Berlin) whilst releases on such labels as Attic, Kvalia, Mnestic and Semantica, as well as her own Monday Off, help her reach an ever-growing fanbase. While trends ebb and flow in techno, Mary Yuzovskaya stands steadfast with her singular voice and vision.Their RA profile lists Semantica Records, Attic Music, Monday Off, female pressure and 2 more.Recently at Berghain, Tresor / Globus, Backsteinboot · often with GLOBUS, TRESOR, Berghain, none of them here that night
“Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music.”

Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the 80’s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for over two decades. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late 90’s, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene. He runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV. In 2019 he will celebrate his thirty-year career with a very special secret lineup party in Madrid that will be much talked about because of its concept and the quality of the guests. 2019 also meant the Selection Natural project peak time with releases in Pole Group and performances all over the club universe. The uncertain days of 2020 and 2021 meant a sudden stop of all touring action but Oscar kept busy with his studio work. A bunch of releases saw the light during that period and his audiovisual project Monochrome had some performances under the security environment required those days. Now near the end of 2021 most of the club activity has returned and Oscar has again a full schedule gigwise. We also celebrate his 20 years in production with releases on Token records, Semantica, and his very own Warm Up Recordings with a new limited vinyl series called WUBC mostly available on Bandcamp.Their RA profile lists Tsunami, Tresor, Token, MindTrip and 6 more.often with Massimiliano Pagliara, Berghain, Pablo Bozzi, none of them here that night

Immersed in club culture from a young age, he developed a deep connection to the raw energy of techno, particularly drawing inspiration from scenes emerging in the UK and Spain. In 2012, he relocated to Berlin, and one year later founded his own label, Falling Ethics Records. What began as a platform for his own productions has since evolved into a respected outlet showcasing a diverse range of artists, contributing meaningfully to the global techno landscape. The label is also recognised for its distinctive visual identity and commitment to authenticity, establishing itself as a reference point within the independent scene. As a performer, P.E.A.R.L. brings a considered and intentional approach to the DJ booth. Less focused on spectacle, his sets are deeply personal, shaped by a careful balance of tension and release and an eclectic sense of flow. This unpretentious yet deliberate artistry has earned him quiet respect within the international techno community — not as someone chasing trends, but as an artist with a deep understanding of our culture.Their RA profile lists PoleGroup Recordings, Warm Up, Mord, Falling Ethics and 6 more.Recently at RSO.BERLIN, Else · often with ROBUS, Laure Croft, Henning Baer, none of them here that night

New name, same power: Pureblast (formerly known as Baraka) channels the explosive and contagious energy of the duo into an uncompromising live act. At the crossroads of the new punk-electronic movement, their music fuses powerful vocals, percussive beats, aggressive basslines and synth layers influenced by dance music, progressive trance, hard-hitting cold electronic sounds, techno, and industrial rock: a hybrid sound that reveals its full power on stage. Pureblast transcends genres and spaces: capable of transforming a concert hall into a dance floor or building up a club's energy to the level of a punk show, the duo adapts seamlessly to each venue, delivering audiences an immersive and cathartic experience and offering a whole new way to party. Their live performances have already set fire to venues such as Berghain/Panorama Bar (Berlin), RSO (Berlin), C12 (Brussels) and festivals like Nuits Sonores (Lyon, Brussels), Positive Education (Saint-Étienne), Draaimolen (Tilburg), Peacock Festival (Paris), Pitch Festival (Australia) and Transmusicales (Rennes). This is just the beginning for the band, whose cathartic, futuristic music is likely to echo long into the night. While Pureblast is born for the stage, their roots remain deeply anchored in DJ culture. Behind the decks, the duo unleash the same restless energy as in their productions, channeling it into intense and unpredictable DJ sets. Their selections fuse percussive techno, deep progressive trance, tech house, as well as rave and hard-edged electronic sounds into high-voltage journeys. From hypnotic build-ups to deep bass grooves, their sets are designed to captivate, drive and ignite the crowd. As a duo at the forefront of the new French electronic scene, Pureblast shape the revival of club and dance culture. They have already left their mark on iconic clubs such as Blitz (Munich), Macadam (Nantes), Lofi (Amsterdam), RSO (Berlin) or Essaim (Paris) as well as on global platforms like Boiler Room and Intercell, cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting acts in today’s scene.Their RA profile lists Dischi Autunno, Mama told ya, Radiant Love and GODDEZZ.often with ROBUS, Baergarten, VEL, none of them here that night
