The time for genre has passed, with Jeku partaking in such musical flora fuckery, focusing on tripped out kinetic motion, compelling/telling the body to move. Coming from Helsinki where he continually bumps heads at Kaiku & Post Bar, and now residing in Paris, Jeku is twisting the format of psy inflected rhythms. Releases on labels like Craigie Knowes partake in a new wave of how house would sound if it took a dive into the mycelial broth, for the dancefloor and a trip in the mind. Beyond the postured DJ of the times, Jeku comes through with live sets on a 50/50 analogue tip; unreleased tracks heard only then, the ephemeral nature of the night in place.Their RA profile lists Craigie Knowes, EYA Records, Harmony Rec., Avoidance and 2 more.often with Eva Loveless, Bambi (FR), nataliepops, none of them here that night
“Yan has been digging for deeper and dubby techno since 2014 and has become one of the finest djs of the scene along with his pal Alfred Czital, whom he often goes b2b with, delivering an expert selection of subtle grooves tied up in a tense ambient world.”
