Starting her musical journey with classical instruments like the piano and flute, her trajectory shifted in 2021 when she entered the DJing scene. Born in Berlin, Laura Sí has long been part of the Berlin techno scene, first as an enthusiastic dancer on the floor, then as a decorator and organizer, then as an awareness worker, and finally behind the decks. As part of Femquency and the Mit Dir Festival, she has helped organize a wide variety of events. From downtempo to peak time, Laura Sí likes to play genre-fluid music, as long as it gets people moving, allows them to sing along from time to time, and, in the best case, conveys a political message. As a newcomer, she still has to find her style, but so far she affectionately calls it trashno. For her, the overall concept is the focus of events—decoration, music, and dancers all contribute equally to creating an atmosphere where everyone feels safe and welcome. Als gebürtige Berlinerin ist Laura Sí schon lange Teil der Berliner Technoszene, erst als enthusiastische Tänzerin aufm Floor, von Deko und Orga hin zu Awareness Arbeit und schließlich auch hinter den Decks zu finden hat sie als Teil von Femquency und dem Mit Dir Festival verschiedenste Veranstaltungen mitgestaltet. Von Downtempo bis Peak Time spielt Laura Sí gerne genrefluid, Hauptsache es lässt die Hüften schwingen, man kann ab und zu mitsingen und es verbirgt sich im besten Fall noch eine politische Message. Katja Kilig’s musical journey began with a guitar in post-GDR Leipzig, where the spirit of punk, hardcore, and techno echoed through squatted houses and abandoned factories. Those early underground roots shaped her uncompromising approach: full authenticity, no pretense, and music that speaks to the body. Now based in Berlin, her DJ sets fuse raw energy, emotion, and movement. Known for her powerful peak-time techno sets with a solid dose of acid, hard techno, and trance, Katja also embraces her musically polyamorous nature through the dirty, bouncy rhythms of tech house and dark disco whenever the vibe calls for it. Her message to the crowd: you’re here now, so dance like you mean it.
