Marie aka Marre from Potsdam discovered her love for bouncy music at a very early age and has been part of Berlin’s club culture for many years. At the beginning of 2024, she decided to teach herself to DJ in order to create and pass on this energy and euphoria herself and, after many home sessions with and for friends, has already had several gigs in Potsdam and Berlin in a short time. Her sound is characterised by a powerful mix of bouncy trance, hard groove, hard house and energetic hard techno elements with driving basslines 💫💞Recently at Nuthepark Potsdam, Lokschuppen Berlin, M-BIA · often with Erebos, Blossmbae, EMZN, none of them here that night

Her highly anticipated EP lands on 20 March via Franck's Carouse Records, already backed by Patrick Mason and Anetha, with a Radio Rudina appearance lined up as part of Franck's label showcase. Athina's passion for music and dance blossomed at a young age, influenced by her father and her early experiences playing piano and singing in a choir. In 2019, she received her first mixing desk from her father, sparking her journey into electronic music. After initially mixing for herself, she began playing at birthday parties, raves, and eventually international club gigs. By the end of 2022, Athina realized her desire to further pursue her musical career, constantly honing her skills since then. Traveling extensively, she explores new music and cultures, performing in countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, and Switzerland. Her musical style is as diverse as her experiences, spanning from 110bpm deep house to 145bpm groovy and trancy tunes to 165bpm hard techno and everything in between. With a philosophy of no limits, Athina incorporates anything that sounds and feels good into her sets.Recently at Komplex Berlin, OST, Lokschuppen Berlin · often with Limoncello, Kø:lab, SEKTOR69, none of them here that night
