Jamie is a Mc legend coming from the capitol city of germany , Berlin. He was the first generation of Junglists in this country, doing it since the early 90's, when he started to write lyrics he was only 15. On the mic for almost any big name in the Jungle/D&B scene (name one ..) he was booked all over europe, asia and the usa. In 2000 he was booked as the first Jungle/D&B artist to the UK. He performed in London, Bristol and Oxford and this wasn't the last time he stood on stage in the motherland of the genre. Up to now he's still one of the most mentioned Mc's and it seems like he's not willing to quit yet! He's also working for one of the main Clubs for Jungle/D&B, and any other kind of leftfield beats aswell, the Berlin Venue Club Gretchen where they run the "Recycle - Berlin's finest Drum'n'Bass" events which he is part of since the very beginning in 1996.

“Eklekt1k’s relationship with bass music was shaped early through vinyl culture and hands-on DJ practice.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Eklekt1k’s relationship with bass music was shaped early through vinyl culture and hands-on DJ practice. By her mid-teens, she was already recording mixes rooted in breakbeat, jungle, drum & bass, and ragga jungle, laying the foundation for a sound defined by pure rhythmic complexity and low-end weight. After some period away from the decks, she returned with renewed focus, and in 2024 launched a bi-weekly residency in Funkhaus Berlin on Etikett Radio. Marking the start of her current chapter as an active selector, resident and curator. Those early influences continue to define her sound today — grounded in soundsystem culture, broken rhythms, and a balance between deep listening and dancefloor pressure. Her selections have travelled widely across international airwaves, with guest appearances on Operator Radio (Rotterdam), Relate Radio (Groningen), Radio Flouka (Paris), SVARA Radio (Liverpool) Refuge Worldwide (Berlin), among others. Rooted in soundsystem culture and driven by experimental club aesthetics, her sets typically orbit between 140–180 BPM, weaving broken rhythms, cinematic textures, and heavy low-end into emotionally charged yet dancefloor-conscious journeys. Groove and tension sit side by side, with an emphasis on mood, weight, and spatial movement. As a producer, she currently explores her sound through two parallel personas: one focused on experimental, deconstructed, analog-driven compositions, and the other leaning into high-energy, bass-heavy club music built for impact. Across both, her work is defined by a sensitivity to texture, rhythm, and emotional depth — always searching for the space where intensity and introspection meet.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Engulfing himself in the underground music scene since the early 90's, Tommy Lexxus is no slouch when it comes to production and performance. From the heyday of Math Rock, Post Metal and Reggae, to the prologues of Drum & Bass, Dubstep & Grime. Before becoming a Junglist, Tommy played drums and bass guitar in several well known bands. He opened for Green Day when he was only 15, and was a founding member of Math Rock legends Upsilon Acrux. The Sub FM host has always kept his record crates very diverse and full of bass weight. Tommy's mixing skills are innovatively amusing while sophisticatedly cerebral. His sets are consistently entertaining, no matter the style or setting. Tommy Lexxus founded Bassism in 2005 as a warehouse rave in San Francisco. Fast forward to present day, and we find he and the Bassism crew stationed comfortably in Berlin with global distribution on Virgin. 2026 01 Jan • Drums @ Work • Drugstore 07 Jan • Tommy Lexxus on Sub FM 17 Jan • Critical Sound + Bassism • Gretchen 20 Jan • Bassism 30 • Uglydub 03 Feb • Bassism 20 Years • Vol. I 04 Feb • Tommy Lexxus on Sub FM 17 Feb • Bassism 31 • Arøund The Way 03 Mar • Bassism 20 Years • Vol. II 04 Mar • Tommy Lexxus on Sub FM 01 Apr • Bassism Radio on Sub FM 07 Apr • Bassism 20 Years • Vol. III 25 Apr • Recycle + Bassism • Gretchen 29 Apr • Tommy Lexxus on Sub FM 05 May • Bassism 20 Years • Vol. IV 27 May • Bassism Radio on Sub FM 30 May • Playaz Anniversary • Edelfettwerk Hamburg Bassism Crew Berlin: Tommy Lexxus VILIFY DJ Quien Hawt Coco SCHNITT Jimi Handtrix Grzly Adams Migz Uglydub MC Do Arøund The Way Zhi MC
