Avid music collector, label owner & DJ, Vincent Neumann has gathered a loyal underground following by word of mouth, with consistently brilliant closing sets and long patient vinyl orientated mixing. Born, raised and currently residing in Leipzig, Vincent Neumann works as a psychotherapist during the day and as a DJ by night. As one of the residents of Leipzig’s Distillery since 2012, he happily gets to share his passion for dance music regularly. Next to this he also runs the Leipzig based label Unitas Multiplex. The vibes during his DJ-sets are often described as energetic, fast, enthusiastic and sometimes even relentless, without ever sacrificing taste or quality. Her work envisions the dance floor as a common ground of light and dark, always holding space for the freaks, hoes, gays, thems and dolls. For Crypto, the club is a refuge that breaks barriers – between abstract and functional, moon and sun, right and wrong. A place that brings people together through frequencies and movement. One nation under a groove.* Spending 10+ years of finessing her abilities in selection, mixing techniques and crowd control, Crypto’s power lies in the way she leads the dance floor from collective immersion to euphoric peaks and back to tunnel zone. Expect a candid dance floor and sultry madness while she's zoning out in the booth, pouring her heart right in front of you. Still a dedicated club kid, joining her community on nights free of duty... Crypto’s connection to club culture keeps staying strong and growing deeper, weekend after weekend. On her journey through club culture, Crypto used to be a promotor, worked at digital and vinyl distribution Word And Sound and wrote music reviews. Combined with handling the books herself for more than 10 years, she unlocked deep insight into what makes the industry tick. Windfuhr is a Berlin based DJ and Eerste Communie resident. Guided by the rhythm of drums, his musical journey is defined by hypnotic introspections and consistent energy flow. It is precisely the union of these elements which allows the mind to wander and the body to keep moving. A strictly warm and organic sound, dominated by low frequencies and percussive elements is Windfuhr’s signature touch. Music as a tool - to explore himself and to build a dialogue with the audience. His Guadeloupean heritage enables him to capture and adapt the musical tradition of `Gwo Ka‘ - which in Creole means “big drum”- into each one of his mixes. Gwo Ka is the combination of sound and movement through the rhythms played on the drums and the dances of the audience. In its traditional form, drummers and dancers merge into an infinite interaction of rhythms and gestures giving life to a communal performance. Inspired by his roots, Windfuhr translates this tradition into contemporary soundscapes with the aim to emphasize the connection between dance, spirit and music. The philosophy of communication through sound lies at the roots of his passion: by reading and understanding the energy of the dancers, he becomes their shadow and allows the creation of a story where everyone is the author. Kat Davids started her DJ journey only a couple of years ago but is already making serious moves as a Berlin based newcomer - always striving to allow people to lose oneself in a musical journey for a night. She has played at some well-known institutions such as Tresor, Watergate, Refuge Worldwide, Revier Südost, Re:mise, Aeden, Weltspiele Hannover, Modular Cape Town and AND Club Johannesburg. Since November 2022 she also hosts her own regular show 'Spinning Grounds' at THF Radio Berlin and founded her own FLINTA* collective V.A. Femme* with workshops around DJng, live sets and producing. With an intimate space that feels raw and honest, Kat Davids produces music that seems like a personal note from her to you. Kats’ music is characterised by her own spoken words, singing, ambient & field recordings, synths and driving bass lines.
