Rooted in the expansive range of dance music, her sound is driven by percussion and groove, reflecting the deep ancestral rhythms of her African lineage. Her eclectic catalog spans house, techno, breaks, electro, hardgroove, disco, and more. Dance, an ancient ritual of connection and expression, is at the core of Sub Sahara’s artistry. She channels this heritage into her sets, honoring movement as both a personal and collective experience. Committed to inclusivity, she celebrates Black, BIPOC, and queer identities, recognizing their vital influence on dance music culture. Through her music, she fosters community, creating spaces for connection, self-expression, and empowerment.Last at M01 in Oct · often with Ojos de miel, Lixi, Carly Zeng, none of them here that night

You didn’t know you needed it until you hear it. DJs’ DJ, or musician’s musician, if you will. Hailing from Ukraine, Khark̵̡̧̨͕̠̥̘͕̺̳͎̻̥̣̮͎̪̟̻̥̟̜͖̪̲̃͊͐̐̀̄͒͆͊̀̒̿̃͊̀́̉̓́̇̈́̃͋̕͜͝͝͠ͅiv, the spirit is there—a̶̛̯͇̺̬̮͉̦͕͗͒̔́̆͆̂͜͝lmost̷͌̎̄̅͒̀̈́͒̊̋̆̃̊̊̄̉̿͋͊́̀̿͋̊̏͊͠͝͝͝ ̷̛̝͙̱̜̩̤̩̪̜̜̙͖̻̫̹̘͖͕̝̫̣̝͙̯̝͓̙̮̖͕̦̒̓̌͌͌͛͗̈͒͂̓̋̋̂͂̉͊̽̋͌̑́̉̔̿̾̔͑̐̄̚͘̚͘̕̕͜͝͝͠͝ “Spartan-like” discipline and resilience runs through everything. Resident of Drift Kyiv and Salo, he knows his techno, house, and minimal like ABCs and is not afraid to show it on the dancefloor. Catchy? Yes, maybe in the most primitive sense of this word, but also undeniably nuanced, sharp, and precise. The sets are basically P̷̡̠̠͎̼̤̺̗̮̖̩͚̲͈̌̏̿͂̂͋́̓͆̀̑̿̋̊̚̚ͅVA glue once you are on the fl̷͍̤̀̏̍̆̏̑̄͆̋̊̍̊̀̀̽͒̓̓͋̂̾̿͋͑̐̕͝͝͠oor.
