MALUGI's happy place is the dance floor. That's where his cheeky smile and penguin moves turned into global fan favorites. An infectious presence that made him "The Happiest Man in Dance Music“. But don't let it fool you - underneath is a powerhouse ready to tear clubs apart without hesitation. Driven by pumping club productions and just the right amount of mass appeal, MALUGI has created a niche for himself in fast-paced, UK-influenced house. It's a formula that has quickly made him a household name among dance music's tastemakers and awarded him BBC Radio 1 Future Star 2025. As showcased on his Resident Advisor podcast, MALUGI has brought his signature energy to some of dance music's most prestigious spaces, from Panorama Bar and Warehouse Project to Amnesia Ibiza and Awakenings. A relentless creative force that has seen him tour the US and Australia, reach millions of streams on his original productions, and result in two viral Boiler Rooms in 2024. Looking ahead, the mission stays the same: bringing fun to club music, only the scale is growing. Whether it's his stacked festival summer including highlights like Glastonbury and Tomorrowland or his own "Happy Hour" event series - MALUGI brings big feelings for big rooms.Their RA profile lists Club Heart Broken and SNC Recs..Recently at Valley · often with Marlon Hoffstadt, Hoe_mies, Bipolar Soundsystem, none of them here that night

the whole biography
His passion for music all began when he grew up with soul/funk classics & Vinyl. His parents are funk & soul lovers, so Jaël started to embrace these vibes and wanted to make his own music. Jaël came into contact with the guitar, drums, keys and started to realize that playing music is his destiny. Playing instruments become second nature to him, but a few years later he was exploring some music programmes, and felt like making music on his old Windows PC. Jaël mixed his soul & funk feels with his electronic vibes and combined it with a touch of smoothness & Beats. His most favourite artists are: Sango, Anderson Paak, J-Dilla, Kaidi Tatham, DEGO, Steve Spacek, Domu, Butcher Brown, DJ Harrison, Mndsgn, Dwele, Slum Village, Erykah Badu, Flying Lotus, D'Angelo, DJ Rob Manga, Mayer Hawthorne, Kendrick Lamar, BJ The Chicago Kid and many more. As a Deejay he's still fully inspired by his uncle DJ Rob Manga. Jaël was growing into the dutch Deejay scene and came in contact with great names like Jarreau Vandal, Full Crate, The Flexican & also was booked at the biggest festivals in The Netherlands such as Latin Village & Eastville Festival. Currently, Jaël is searching and creating his own sound and is busy on his debut EP that is scheduled to drop in 2017. It contains influences of artists such as Bryson Tiller, D'Angelo & Anderson .Paak. In the past few years Jaël got really inspired by these soulfull artists. The EP contains acoustic songs & futuristic sounds. Jaël is known as a remixer/beatmaker/deejay, but he is also a singer. So be on the lookout for Jaël's vocals & instrumental sounds. “Emerging from Berlin’s ever-evolving electronic music landscape, Surf 2 Glory marks the latest chapter in the artistic journey of Greta Carlotta Galla - previously known under her solo alias Galleur.”

Emerging from Berlin’s ever-evolving electronic music landscape, Surf 2 Glory marks the latest chapter in the artistic journey of Greta Carlotta Galla - previously known under her solo alias Galleur. What began as a collaborative project has now transformed into a fully independent artistic vision, following the departure of Sanaz from the duo. Today, Surf 2 Glory stands as a singular voice: emotionally charged, high-impact, and rooted in a deep understanding of club culture. Galla’s trajectory into music was never accidental. It was built from the ground up through years of immersion in the industry. With early roots in editorial work, artist club and concert booking, and cultural journalism, she developed a nuanced perspective on music long before stepping fully into the DJ booth. Her experience spans roles in booking agencies, music media, and international brand campaigns, including positions at Intro Magazin, BFOS Booking or agencies like Ogilvy and Styleheads, as well as leading booking strategy for club institutions such as Open Ground Wuppertal. This multifaceted background continues to shape her artistic identity. Rather than approaching DJing as a fixed genre exercise, Surf 2 Glory embodies constant evolution: an ethos Galla herself has emphasized in interviews, describing her sound as fluid and ever-changing, driven by curiosity and a fascination with unexpected sonic “glitches” that give tracks their edge. Musically, Surf 2 Glory operates at the intersection of progressive house, trance, and high-energy club sounds, combining emotional depth with physical intensity. Where Galleur leaned into groove-driven and progressive textures, Surf 2 Glory amplifies the energy: delivering fast-paced, euphoric, and hard-hitting sets designed for peak-time dancefloors. Over the past years, she has performed across Europe, becoming a familiar name in forward-thinking club circuits and festival lineups. Appearances include respected platforms and venues such as Melt Festival, Mysteryland, Pitch Festival Australia and Fusion Festival, high profile clubs such as NITSA Barcelona, Watergate Berlin, Fuse Brussels, Robert Johnson Offenbach or Ushuaia Ibiza - but as well as various underground spaces such as former Lunchbox Candy collective Tracey or Queer Ranch Festival in Lesbos. Her sets are characterized by versatility and an instinctive ability to read the room; balancing intensity with moments of release. A key part of her network is her involvement with the Berlin-based collective Club Heart Broken, a platform known for fostering emotionally driven, genre-fluid club music and nurturing a new generation of artists. Within this context, Surf 2 Glory contributes not only as a performer but as part of a broader cultural movement centered on inclusivity, experimentation, and community. On the production side, Surf 2 Glory (and previously Galleur) has released several EPs such as Dil-Doe or FAF that reflect this duality between introspection and dancefloor energy. Her releases have found their way into curated playlists and underground circulation, steadily building a digital footprint across platforms like Spotify, SoundCloud, and Apple Music with in total about 500.000 Streams. While not driven by mainstream metrics, her streaming presence reflects organic growth and a dedicated listener base within the electronic music community. Despite increasing recognition, Galla maintains a grounded perspective on her career. In earlier interviews, she described her motivation simply as “having fun,” emphasizing humility and respect for the vast talent within the scene. This attitude continues to define Surf 2 Glory today: an artist driven less by commercial ambition and more by genuine passion, curiosity, and connection. From early influences in genres like French Touch, Future Garage, and New Rave to her current exploration of trance-infused club music, Surf 2 Glory represents a continuous process of reinvention. With a sharpened artistic direction and a growing presence on European lineups, this new solo chapter signals not just a rebranding - but a clear step forward into a more focused, high-impact future.Their RA profile lists Club Heart Broken.Recently at OST, Kater, OXI · often with Bleach, DJ Petite, ADAM MUNNINGS, none of them here that night
