Also known as "The Dogfather," this Brittany-born artist journeyed from a small town in France to the heart of Berlin. Shaped by his background as a nurse and recognized as an iconic "face" of the Fetish scene, he slowly built his unique journey over the years as a model & performer and is now focusing on his artistic evolution as a DJ. His relationship with music began the moment he embraced his true self and learned to celebrate what makes him different. Many hours on the dancefloor, surrounded by diverse communities, taught him not only about others but also about himself. Those experiences became the foundation of a sound that is deeply emotional, authentic, and clearly his own. To him, Techno has always been more than entertainement, it's a sanctuary for the misfits, the rebels, the outsiders, and that's why he wants to preserve that spirit and bring the culture back to its roots. Music is a way to spread important messages, fight hate and heal people. His mission is to bring communities together by sharing deep emotions through music to educate people and uplift the Fetish community, while helping to protect & build safe spaces where everyone can express themselves freely. Gegen Berlin resident and part of the core team, Mar/us is a sonic architect, crafting hard and fast techno beats that propel listeners into the deepest realms of self-discovery. In the heart of Berlin's techno underworld, Mar/us doesn't merely play music; they orchestrate a liberating and hedonistic atmosphere where sexuality and self-expression collide in an electrically charged dance of liberation. Their beats are not just heard but felt on a visceral level, fostering an atmosphere where inhibition dissolves, boundaries blur and the dancefloor resonates with the liberating power of music and movement.Their RA profile lists Gegen Records.Recently at KitKatClub, RSO.BERLIN, Else · often with BOYCA, Spikey Lee, Metaraph, none of them here that night
“The Parisian Techno scene has a vast number of players, but none growing exponentially like DJ & producer Nymed.”
their own biography
the whole biography
The Parisian Techno scene has a vast number of players, but none growing exponentially like DJ & producer Nymed. Growing up in the seaside town of Dunkirk in Northern France, the artist’s proximity to the Belgian border fueled his love affair for electronic music. He began his own party series, "Conceptual Violence," in bunkers on the Flemish Coast after becoming properly acquainted with the Belgian and Dutch club realms across the border. The concept was simple - to reappropriate & transform a former historical warzone into a place of celebration, joy, & love. What initially began as a party series evolved into a podcast, showcasing a wide selection of Techno artists from all over the world. Prior to the 2020 pandemic, Nymed relocated to Paris and began producing music and honing in on his DJ craft becoming a pillar of this scene. He launched a new event concept, Toyz, in 2021 as a move to revitalize and fill a growing demand for safe party spaces for other like minded, sexually liberated queer ravers. Nymed’s sound is characterized by a love for old school 90’s techno, with a no frills approach to mixing that sets him apart from his FX laden contemporaries. This revivalist sound has made him an in-demand artist locally at iconic French queer events like Spectrum & Myst, as well as Paragon Broadway or Berghain. Fluctuating between hypnotic and sensual, his music production work channels his DJing philosophy while incorporating trippy melodies and sexually charged rhythms. A chance meeting with fellow artist and label manager False Witness led to a friendship where a mutual respect for each other's creative visions were forged, leading up to Nymed’s debut EP, ‘Vassau’ on E-Missions Recordings in 2023.Their RA profile lists E-Missions, DESSERT and Philoxenia.Last at OXI in Nov 2025 · often with invites SQWEEZ!
