the whole biography
Vanaenae's great love is house music in all its variations, groovy with vocals, especially from the 90s. With various Leipzig projects in the past (Music Of Color) as well as the present (G-Edit, Sunday Love Affair), she strives to shape club culture sustainably for BIPoC and FLINTA*. Vanaenae isn't interested in rigid genres; her music instead serves as bridge between various house subgenres, paying homage to classics and second-hand gems while incorporating contemporary releases.Recently at Paloma, Kater · often with HOPPER, ACID BOGEN, EXTRA, none of them here that night

Sleeptwtich sound is one for the nerds: blending Old School Electro, Breakbeat, Detroit Techno, and ~dreamy robotic vibes~ She is part of two Berlin's local collectives —@xcuseu.kollektiv and @crush.kollektiv — throwing events, hosting workshops, running DJ sessions, and creating spaces that spotlight female and queer communities. As being a full time creative, she loves to bring her Florist profession to the dancefloor: creating different set designs in Berlin's venues like Watergate, Lighthouse Plötzensee (Fandango), OXI - and having her first floral exhibition at Sameheads in spring 2025. On top of all that, she keeps busy with two ongoing radio shows at Cashmere Radio and Systems.Radio, sharing their unique sound with listeners everywhere.Recently at Sisyphos, Sameheads, OST · often with Linnea Mae, DJ CHICHI, Keex, none of them here that night
