Biography: Køpflos, real name Johann Hladik, is a German techno DJ and music producer. Starting with small raves in Brandenburg, he nowadays plays in bigger Berlin underground clubs such as Mbia at Alexanderplatz. He started to live out his preference and enthusiasm for electronic music at an early age and began producing his first tracks as a teenager. Inspired by well-known artists like Klangkuenstler and Kobosil, his music style evolved from soft techhouse to hardtechno. His genre can be compared to a mixture of reverse bass or early hardstyle and industrial techno. As a central element one also perceives the hardstyle typical bassline. This colorful mix provides in its own way for ambience and dance stimulating mood. Recorded in Berlin rave collectives, he later came to more famous clubs. Also in other places or cities like Koblenz, Potsdam or Trebbin he provided excitement and unique live performances. He gained popularity through his track "Party People" from the ep "Wütend Werden", as well as numerous edits of well-known hits of the early 2000s. In mid-2023, he subsequently produced a new "Hard Rave Edit" from the well-known duo Ace of Base with "Beautiful Life" in collaboration with the well-known Cologne techno DJ and producer AMBAM. Køpflos is a new talent on the techno scene in and around Berlin and is aiming for the big stages with his unusually attractive sound.Recently at Void Hall, M-BIA, ORWO Haus · often with Brizze, DaSoMaZo, Emma (8), none of them here that night

He fell in love with electronic music at a young age attending drum n bass and house music parties in PR. But it was in 2009 when he moved to the East Coast of the US that he was captivated by the art of mixing and collecting records, something that he stays very loyal to, strictly playing ALL VINYL sets. Emma likes to keep his sets varied and take the crowd through a musical journey, from dub to house to minimal and techno…none of his sets will sound the same. In 2012 Emma moved to in Brooklyn NY and got involved in the ever growing and evolving local underground scene. He has performed at venues like: The Panther Room (Output), The Roof (Output), Good Room, Analog BKny, TBA, Bushwick AV afterhours and Bossa Nova Civic Club, just to mention a few. In 2016 he joined forces with his partner in crime K.O. and together they launched Vinyl Please, a series of parties showcasing vinyl culture, praising veteran artists & labels, while also highlighting new and up-and-coming artists.” So far they had the pleasure of hosting talented local and intentional DJs including Subb-an (One Records, 2020 Vision), Dennis Rodgers (112 Crew, Robots), Claire (Archipel, Monoclap- MTL), Alix Alvarez (Taverna Tracks, Secret Society), Martinez (Concealed Sounds- Copenhagen), Andrew Grant (Sheik-n-Beik, Circoloco), Ohm Hourani (Anoma Records MTL) ,O.BEE (Resolute), Willie Graff (Freerange Recordings, Pacha Ibiza), Michel Harruch & Dominguez (Mnmlktchn), Anthony Collins (Frank & Tony, Scissor & Thread), Connie (ReSolute), Francis Harris aka Adultnapper (Frank & Tony, Scissor & Thread), Lauer (Tuff City Kids, Robert Johnson- DE), and Onionz (Intec, Electrik Soul) who have delighted the crowds with their record collections. In 2018 Vinyl Please teamed up with Dojo Sessions and Nine to Fire to launch Praxis, a monthly event held at intimate Brooklyn underground venues showcasing live acts and vinyl only Dj sets.” Currently a member of the Brooklyn Sway gang in NYC!often with Jay Prouty, DeWinter, Rodney Cortes, none of them here that night
