Born in Switzerland and currently residing in Berlin, Germany, DJ Sun has always been immersed in music from a young age. With musician parents, the connection to music has always been present. His journey began when he discovered the world of illegals rave parties in 2015 where electronic music reigned supreme. Fascinated by their organization, DJ Sun quickly decided to venture into organizing his own illegals raves, which led to the founding of the OTIUM collective in 2018. Over time, he honed his DJ skills, specializing in old-school techno infused with influences from hip hop, jazz, and house. Beyond his DJ performances, he has also delved into VJing projects, leveraging his videography skills. For the past four years, he has been creating his own compositions to add a more personal touch to his DJ sets. The creation of his own label, OTIUM Records, in collaboration with his best friend Rødig, has been one of the highlights of his artistic journey. DJ Sun’s universe stands out with a commitment to quality over quantity, focusing on creating his first EP in 2024 that will reflect an authentic artistic approach. Looking ahead, DJ Sun’s project aims to create an A/V show entirely controlled by machines on stage. This complementary project is more festival-oriented, providing a more «touring» aspect compared to the clubbing / rave element of a DJ set.
