    the whole biography
Blazing through clubs across Europe — and earlier this year, North America as well — Caniche is fast becoming a defining force in contemporary Hardgroove Techno. Her sets blend percussive textures with rap-infused vocals. Funk-heavy rhythms meet tribal elements — all grounded in old-school drums. But her signature style doesn’t stop at the booth: As a producer, Caniche channels that same driving energy into her tracks, released on renowned labels such as RAW, GRÜV, Twice Infinity, and soon, BCCO. Her debut EP, released in 2024, featured remixes by ISAIAH and CULT — adding further weight to her growing discography. On stage, she’s known for igniting floors at Berlin institutions like Tresor and RSO, while also making waves at standout clubs across Europe, including Kalt (Strasbourg), Mondo Disko (Madrid), and Grelle Forelle (Vienna). A tour through India is next on the horizon — expanding her reach even further. Off stage, Caniche co-leads the PUSH Network, curating events at both Tresor and Grelle Forelle under its banner. PUSH is dedicated to amplifying FLINTA voices in electronic music, advocating for visibility, equity, and long-term change. More than just a platform, it’s a growing movement — and Caniche stands at its heart. Pronouns: she/ her

““The word escape is wrong, I haven’t been trying to escape” Ultra Truth - the fifth album by Daniel Avery - is ablaze.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
“The word escape is wrong, I haven’t been trying to escape” Ultra Truth - the fifth album by Daniel Avery - is ablaze. The burning fire is there in the distortion that radiates bright and flickers across the tracks like flames, shooting sparks in every direction. It’s there as every celestial melody decays, rendered down to molten sound, leaving almost nothing under wave upon wave of white noise, black noise, red and amber noise. And it’s there in the heat created by the constant motion of rhythms wrenched out of overheated machines; skittering drum tracks programmed in restless sequences that become more hypnotic as they unfold. Since 2013’s Drone Logic, Avery has released four critically lauded solo albums and one collaborative LP - Illusion Of Time - with Alessandro Cortini, Italian composer and member of Nine Inch Nails, a band with whom Avery toured across America in 2018. “Ultra Truth finds me in a different place to where I’ve been before. My previous albums have all focused on the idea of music being an escape or a distraction from the world but that’s not the case this time. For me this album is about looking directly into the darkness, not running away from it. There’s a way through these times but it involves keeping the important people in your life close to you and navigating the noise together. This is an intentionally heavy and dense album, the hooks often hidden in dusty corners. I’m no longer dealing in a misty-eyed euphoria. Ultra Truth is a distorted fever dream of a record: riled, determined and alive.” The record was created in Avery’s Thames side studio with collaborative help from a host of friends: the production touch of Ghost Culture and Manni Dee, the vocals of HAAi, Jonnine Standish (HTRK), AK Paul and the voices of Marie Davidson, Kelly Lee Owens, Sherelle and James Massiah. Each adds their own unique emotional glow to the record through poetry, pensive thoughts and soaring melodies. “I’m working with an entirely different world of sound on this record. Every single influence from the last decade spent on the road plays a part. Things that have been in the back of my mind forever, warped, distorted and pushed to a new place.” Ultra Truth is just that. It’s the ultimate musical truth of one of the country’s most innovative, boundary-pushing electronic producers. And the truth is, this is a record to give you a burning sense of hope.

    their own biography

    the whole biography
IMOGEN channels dystopian electro, rumbling bass, UK techno and choppy breaks, drawing influence from her storied years living in London while adding her own spiky twist to the darker-tinted tones of electronic music. Listening to The Prodigy and Stanton Warriors at home with her mum in Southampton sparked IMOGEN's interest in dance music. An underage raver at the time, she immersed herself in the scene, attending several house-led parties at her local club, Junk, before moving to London aged 16 to study Music Technology. Here, she learnt how to produce and DJ while cutting her teeth as a resident on Radar Radio. Featuring seminal guests like Ellen Allien and Umwelt, IMOGEN established her vision from day one. At just 18 years old, IMOGEN landed a booking at Berghain and has since evolved into the revered producer and DJ she is today. In 2022, Voitax released her debut solo EP What?, which Resident Advisor described as 'Fast, techno-infused electro from a rising star rapidly coming into her own.' Her track 'Up To No Good' garnered praise from industry and dance music lovers alike. Earlier releases include her debut tune 'Flesh' on Earwiggle in 2018, followed by Volts co-produced with Ben Pest. Her latest release dropped on Steel City Dance Discs this summer with a fusion of hefty breaks and four-to-the floor beats. The EP also includes a remix by Radioactive Man. Living in London allowed IMOGEN to soak up the city's rich club culture and finesse her craft. As a resident on NTS Radio, she regularly plays B2B with her favourite artists, including Helelna Hauff, Identified Patient and Clouds, this was recognised by BBC Radio One where IMOGEN just hosted her debut show on the station. A former resident of fabric, IMOGEN has supported artists across the electronic spectrum and has played throughout the UK, counting shows at Warehouse Project, The Beams and festivals Glastonbury and Junction 2. Sharing her sound in Europe, she's soundtracked Kraftwerk, Herrensauna, MELT festival, Awakenings and many more. During the pandemic, IMOGEN explored ways to give back to the music community. She taught Music Production lessons via Zoom, sharing knowledge in an accessible, friendly environment. This led her to launch Wigs, an inclusive platform and party series that facilitates workshops and provides a hub for aspiring artists to connect. IMOGEN curates Wigs events with the same forward-thinking approach, breaking the circuit of tried and tested lineups and showcasing new names on the night. The first event kicked off in fabric as part of the club's 24-hour Continuum series. Since then, IMOGEN has taken Wigs across the UK and Europe featuring Aquarian, Daria Kolosova and Bjarki. This winter sees the birth of Wigs as a record label alongside more sold out shows across the globe. A multi-disciplined artist, IMOGEN is a member of T.I.P. aka TripSixVivo, IMOGEN and Paàl. Together, the trio in corporate live producing and MCing, creating a hybrid of electro, grime, drum'n'bass and techno. Their debut EP Neosynthesis displayed their intricate dynamic and rugged aesthetic. Entering the next phase of her non-conformist career, IMOGEN's skill, dedication and grounded attitude are reflected across all of her projects, making her a vital talent in today's electronic realm.

With a cinematic approach to music production, Koloah creates immersive soundscapes that transport listeners into his own world. As he’s producing in different genres, you may recognize him under aliases — Tropical Echobird and Voin Oruwu. But under any name his music has always spoken of unifying raw energy. “Lena Willikens doesn’t play the hits.”

    their own biography

    the whole biography
Lena Willikens doesn’t play the hits. When she’s behind the decks, even her biggest fans often have no idea exactly what she’s playing, and that’s part of the magic. Like all DJs, Willikens of course has a passion for records and is always on the hunt for elusive bits of music, but as an artist, her work doesn’t hinge on any one track, or even a handful of tracks. She’s after something bigger, something that’s truly transportive for those on the dancefloor, and the tracks she plays – whether they’re bizarre slices of synth exploration, some ominously churning proto-industrial stomp or something else that simply defies classification – are all parts of a larger, more psychically satisfying whole. Born and raised in Germany, Willikens first honed her unique approach during a long residency at Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs, a much-loved nightspot that has proven to be a hotbed of free-thinking DJ talent. Outside of the club, she also found a platform on Radio Cómeme, where her Sentimental Flashback radio show allowed Willikens to dive deep into all sorts of unusual musical wormholes. (The Cómeme label was also home to her first EP, 2015's Phantom Delia.) These days, however, Willikens' radio adventures happen on NTS, where she pilots the monthly Lightning Conductor program. Now based in Amsterdam, her curatory prowess prompted an invite from Dekmantel to put together the fifth installment of their acclaimed Selectors compilation series, and she also contributed a track to the label’s run of all-star 10th anniversary EPs. As a remixer, she's been tapped in recent years to rework the likes of Lena Platonos, rRoxymore, S U R V I V E, Simian Mobile Disco and Ana Helder, amongst others. And amidst all this activity, she's also been busy with Phantom Kino Ballett, a collaboration with artist Sarah Szczesny that lands somewhere between immersive audio-visual experience and performance art, allowing Willikens to indulge her transportive impulses in a completely new way. Nevertheless, it’s in the DJ booth where Willikens continues to make the biggest impact. As of late, she’s forged a particularly potent partnership with fellow sonic explorer and Salon des Amateurs alum Vladimir Ivkovic, the two engaging in a sort of mind meld that brings together their shared love of electronic music’s darkest and most bizarre corners. Regardless of whether she’s playing alone or in tandem with someone else, Willikens isn’t the kind of artist who adheres to straight lines. Expect different temperatures, different moods and a dollop of chaos, just to keep things interesting. Circuitous paths take precedence over direct routes, and although not even Willikens herself always knows the final destination, when she’s at the helm, the journey is bound to be thrilling.
