Richii is a seasoned music lover who’s no stranger to the intricately tasteful fluxes of international underground club scenes worldwide. Starting out as a party promoter in Fukuoka, Richii has led a global\nomadic lifestyle spanning from Japan to Australia and most recently Berlin, allowing her to rack up a considerable portfolio of dancefloor miles in different scenes. Richii’s unique sense of club atmosphere and love for records has inevitably guided her towards the DJ booth, debuting during the high tension Pandemic Summer as a new member of the Sound Metaphors family in a series of events spanning from illegal forest raves to various clubs in Berlin. Fast forward a few years and her sense of style and aesthetics in music have positioned her as a trusted reference within the Berlin underground scene, with residencies at the legendary Cocktail d’Amore parties and PDA, the underground Disko not Disko party.Recently at Paloma, arkaoda Berlin, Renate · often with Luigi Di Venere, Sound Metaphors Djs, Temple Rat, none of them here that night

DJ City's first notable release came on Stockholm imprint Born Free in 2018. Previously he had been releasing small edition cassettes but it was this record "Teenage Sex Drive" that brought his music to larger audiences. By this time he had also recently become a resident DJ at Berlins infamous Cocktail d'Amore at Griessmuhle and was experiencing a renaissance in his djing as he got to know the collective and artists involved with the party. In 2020 he had a string of releases on Public Possession which since then has become the principal home of his music. With these releases he established his sound that departs from italo, synth pop and new wave, and through early Chicago style house music lands in what it sounds like today. He started doing vocals by himself and cultivated a type of world making that is present in most of his music still. Lately he has also been working with labels such as Live at Robert Johnson, Permanent Vacation, Uncanny Valley, Vitamina and Les Yeux Orange and at the same pace also been touring Europe, playing from Madrid to Stockholm.Their RA profile lists Permanent Vacation, Uncanny Valley, Cocktail D'Amore, Rat Life Records and 3 more.Recently at Zur Klappe, Kater, Crack Bellmer · often with John Loveless, Sofiia Zoloto, MVHY, none of them here that night
