  the whole biography

Since his introduction to Berlin's deeply rooted musical heritage over 15 years ago, Jimi Handtrix has steadily developed an undying passion for "future roots" music - from early roots & dub to the newest in jungle, drum'n'bass & beyond. Heavily influenced by the early sounds of the UK's rave scene and Caribbean sound system culture, he inevitably found his calling as a deejay, promoter, label manager and musical activist, and hasn't looked back since. Through his continuous involvement in projects such as Dub Der Guten Hoffnung and Serendubity, as well as more recent endeavours such as A Bass Odyssey, his vinyl label Higher Ground Recordings, and his weekly dub session Irie Tuesdays, he has found the means to express himself whilst seamlessly blending a large spectrum of styles, textures and tempos, thus creating a unique musical journey within each of his performances. Over the past decade he has steadily built a solid reputation as one of the go-to guys in Berlin for quality jungle, drum & bass, dub, dubstep and bass music, and abroad at festivals such as Outlook Festival in Croatia, Bamboo Bass in Costa Rica, Cosmic Convergence in Guatemala, Plötzlich am Meer in Poland and Fusion Festival in Germany, as well as smashing clubs all around the UK, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Canada, USA, Mexico and Puerto Rico! ★ Shared the stage with: ★ Shut Up & Dance (UK), Ragga Twins (UK), Gorgon Sound (UK), Ishan Sound (UK), David Boomah (UK), Navigator MC (UK), Aries (UK), Dialect & Kosine (UK), DJ Hybrid (UK), Brian Brainstorm (DE), Krak In Dub (FR), Weeding Dub (FR), Tetra Hydro K (FR), Heist (UK), Nicky Blackmarket (UK), Dope Ammo (UK), King Cannibal (UK), Lenzman (NL), Bachelors Of Science (USA), 3D (USA), Roommate (USA), Babylon System (USA), Dubsworth (USA), Shapeshifter (NZ), Twisted Individual (UK), Jenna G (UK), Optical (UK), Wudub!? & Saimn-I (BE), DJ K (CA), The Mighty Dreadnaught (CA), Ninjah Fareye (CA), Mighty Melody (D), Nickynutz (CA), G31 (UK), Killawatt (UK), Memory9 (UK), RDG (DK), SFR (SA), Symbiz Sound (D), Amaning (D), Giana Brotherz (D), Mr. Boogie (D), Phokus (D), Soulpride (D), NME Click (D), La Loakaii (D), Audiomassive Crew (D), Tricky D (D), Stunnah (D), Soultrain (D) and many more. ★ Played at ★ Outlook Festival (HR), Bamboo Bass (CR), Cosmic Convergence Festival (GT), Fusion Festival (DE), Plötzlich am Meer Festival (PL), Ecologikal Reggae (MX), Serendubity Festival (DE), Artbase Festival (DE), Zwischenraum Festival (B), Sisyphos Festival (B), Suppe & Mucke Streetfest (B), Keimzelle Festival (DE), Solar Festival (DE), Jungle Alliance @ Volks (Brighton, UK), Rikitik (Brighton, UK), Suki10c (UK), The Works (Detroit), MIA Drum & Bass (Chicago), Dolores Park (SF), Nashville (TN), New Haven (CT), Mexico City (MX), San Pedro La Laguna (GT), Nocturne, Toronto (CA), Forum Stadtpark, Graz (AT), Baalsaal (HH), Doornroosje (NL), Triptychon (MS), Fusion (MS), Chekov (CB), Sunny Red (M), Le Grand (DO), Atomino (CH), Sabotage (DD), Icon (B), Ritter Butzke (B), Mensch Meier (B), Rosis (B), YAAM (B), MIKZ (B), About:Blank (B), Subland (B), VOID (B), Brunnen70 (B), K:PAX (B), RAW-Tempel (B), Cassiopeia (B), Badehaus Szimpla (B), Mauerpark (B), VCF (B), Studio54 (B), Edelweiß (B), Theaterkapelle (B), Insel der Jugend (B), Raumklang (B), Calabash/ACUD (B), Brunnen 183 (B), Rote Insel (B), Scharni 38 (B), Scherer 8 (B), Bethanien/New Yorck 59 (B) and many more!

  the whole biography

Jamie is a Mc legend coming from the capitol city of germany , Berlin. He was the first generation of Junglists in this country, doing it since the early 90's, when he started to write lyrics he was only 15. On the mic for almost any big name in the Jungle/D&B scene (name one ..) he was booked all over europe, asia and the usa. In 2000 he was booked as the first Jungle/D&B artist to the UK. He performed in London, Bristol and Oxford and this wasn't the last time he stood on stage in the motherland of the genre. Up to now he's still one of the most mentioned Mc's and it seems like he's not willing to quit yet! He's also working for one of the main Clubs for Jungle/D&B, and any other kind of leftfield beats aswell, the Berlin Venue Club Gretchen where they run the "Recycle - Berlin's finest Drum'n'Bass" events which he is part of since the very beginning in 1996.

The project „alllone“ was founded by three producers based in Graz and Vienna. Formed out of loneliness, they joined forces to continue their quest through electronic beatmaking. Gravitating towards 170bpm, but never limited, they seek for harmonic and distorted sounds in their productions.
