their own biography
the whole biography
KOIA, Dj from Bolivia based in Berlin for the last 4 years, shaped by the city’s underground energy and late-night intensity. Rooted in techno, my sound leans toward the minimal, hypnotic, and deep — built for long journeys on the dancefloor. Repetitive structures, subtle shifts, and immersive textures create a steady flow designed to lock dancers into the moment. Influenced by the raw soul of Detroit, I focus on groove, tension, and atmosphere over peak-time clichés. My sets evolve organically, moving through different shades of pressure and release, always keeping a strong, driving pulse. Along the way, I weave in elements of bass music — dubstep, breakbeats, and low-end-heavy rhythms — adding unexpected turns and weight to the trip. For me, it’s about creating a continuous experience: hypnotic, physical, and deeply connected to the club space. No rush, no shortcuts — just sound, time, and movement. I’ve had the chance to bring my sound into some of Berlin’s most iconic spaces—places where energy, sweat, and music blur into something unforgettable. From nights at Suicide Club and Æden to sessions at Club OST, Void, ://about blank, Humboldthain, Zur Klappe, YAAM, etc. Each dancefloor has shaped me just as much as I’ve shaped the vibe. Every set is a dialogue, a shared moment where the crowd and I move as one.Recently at Tante Frizzante, Lokschuppen Berlin, Void Club · often with Louchi, SSXXCH, sterni (DE), none of them here that night

Born in Bali, Indonesia, his music carries traces of his heritage, layered textures, tribal patterns, and atmospheric depth form the foundation of his productions, while heavy drums and driving grooves anchor the sound. Across Europe and North America, his sets move between precision and chaos, combining organic elements with techno’s momentum. The music is immersive and physical, shaped by instinct and a deep connection to rhythm, without unnecessary embellishment. Alongside performing, he runs MODÜL, a label and event series dedicated to artists and sounds that value energy, groove, and texture. It’s a space where music stands on its own, without compromise. Where each release reflects a commitment to raw expression. Never standing still, Impulsive Behaviour continues to shape his craft, pushing towards heavier textures and deeper grooves, carving out a distinct space in the new generation of techno artists redefining the global sound.Their RA profile lists Voxnox Records, Gomboc Records and NEW GLAM.Recently at ÆDEN, AMT, OXI · often with FANK, none of them here that night

Muffin has become known for her clean-cut, genre-bending sound she describes as “sewer grooves” – an infectious, sped-up beat that blends rolling drumcode basslines with elements from tech-house to psy tech and hard grooves to create a deep, slicing sound that is irresistible, fresh, and danceable. The Muffin Man’s strength lies in skillfully appealing to various facets of the hard techno movement while incorporating influences from completely different backgrounds of electronic music. Her sets are always packed with high energy and seductive beats, leaving her audiences begging for more. Born in Italy, where she first learned to play the piano, and later raised in the heart of East London, Muffin grew up surrounded by a diverse array of musical genres that have significantly influenced her distinctive sound. Attending various underground events post-COVID provided her with the opportunity to channel that inspiration, shaping the musical direction she passionately pursues today. With her recent releases and an original genre already under her belt, she is changing the expectations and the face of what it means to be a techno artist in the current era.Their RA profile lists Speedmaster Records.Recently at Else, ÆDEN, OXI · often with Elotrance, SATYS FYRE, XIMA, none of them here that night
