Andrea Ferlin was born in Cagliari in 1973,and his interest towards dance music and the buying of his first turntables all began when he was fifteen years old. After a few years he started to play a different sound from the ones proposed by all the other disc jockeys in Sardinia. It was a significant year for house music. After a first approach with the house sound he got interested in the electronic side of it: what we all know as "acid". Between 1992 and 1994 his sound changes and develops into techno. Barbara Preisinger first began dj-ing in 1996 in her hometown of Munich and was playing regularly at the the green flokati room of the "ultraschall" club. in the Summer of 1998 Barbara left Munich for Berlin, where she started working as a freelance press and radio promoter for electronic music. In the years that followed she represented various labels and acts from the experimental music scene, ranging from straight clubsounds to electronic pop and indie-electronia. 1999 saw her co-found the label ˜scape, together with Stefan Betke aka Pole, creating an open platform for the productions of Kit Clayton, Jan Jelinek, Deadbeat, Pole amongst many others. Before long she was a resident dj at regular scape nights in berlin and other locations within europe, japan and also further afield in north america. Over the years her musical preferences as dj have changed and developed continuously to House and Techno. Her passion is to play for the dancefloor, mixing kicking house and deep techno, all the while remaining open towards interesting and outstanding tunes that makes you move. And she has been doing exactly that at many a prestigious location around the globe including festivals as Sonar, Benicassim, DEMF, Club Transmediale Berlin, Mutek, Unsound Festival .....to mention but a few. Autumn 2009 Barbara Preisinger founded the 12inch vinyl label SLICES OF LIFE which is focused on organic sounding and diverse club music, with releases by Betke, Mike Huckaby, Baaz, John Tejada, The Mole, Dana Ruh, Losoul, Alexander Skancke,... The label´s founding year also marked the beginning of the event series DEEP IN THE BOX with regular parties at Berlin´s Club der Visionäre, Wilde Renate, Ipse among other places. Per Hammar is a Swedish DJ, producer, and overall sound specialist who’s become a household name in the underground electronic music scene. As the mastermind behind his labels Dirty Hands, 10YEARS, and De Vloer, he constantly pushes boundaries, blending raw, dub-infused sounds with his unorthodox production techniques. A staple in Sweden's underground, Per’s high-energy DJ sets are known for their seamless fusion of forgotten vinyl treasures, often in his own re-edited versions, with the latest releases from the new generation of artists. In his back-to-back project with Ukrainian artist Olga Korol, they generate a magnetic energy, blending her minimal, rolling grooves with Per’s dusty, driving beats. Their on-stage chemistry produces a seamless yet exciting flow that showcases their individual styles. Beyond performing, Per is also the co-founder of Euromix, a boutique mixdown and mastering service with fellow Swede Patrick Siech. Topper grew up in Turin (IT) surrounded by substances and tunes typical of a hippie-kind of environment. Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd were his daily milk. His dad, the "hippie", had a huge influence on him, and introduced his curious kid into the magic world of music and psychedelic culture. That’s the reason why he felt like he was born for music. Right at the beginning of the 3rd millennium he decided to move to Berlin. Since then, Topper is experimenting with his sound, discovering the hidden shapes of electronic and recorded music, meanwhile performing as dj with several Berlin crews (Klangsucht above all) and at several underground parties all around the city. Since 2009 he’s resident with Daniele Papini at Club der Visionäre, hosting the infamous Noisy Glance party. Together with Daniele he joined Sleep is Commercial and became one of the djs/producers on which the label's sound in productions and parties is focused on. He's resident in all Sleep is Commercial parties in Berlin. After his sound engineering studies and some years of deep studio engagement, in 2014 he released his first LP “Down by the River” and a handful of very well received EPs and remixes. Moving to the infamous Pausenraum studio was the definitive shift into a jam based creative process through a hardware setup, whose outcome will be the foundation of 3 labels to be started in 2015.
